Este octubre, Marvel Comics y Williams Racing unen fuerzas para llevar la emoción de la Fórmula 1 al Universo Marvel con IRON MAN: RACING TOWARDS DOOM #1, un nuevo número único escrito por Ethan Sacks e ilustrado por Greg Land.

Emocionante episodio que mezcla terror sobrenatural con ficción steampunk en un balance perfecto y adictivo.

Art He manages to highlight Red Sonja's sensuality as well as her ability to fight, illustrating sequences that show that beyond Sonja's bravery, her flexibility and agility give her a great advantage.

TRAMA

What does it come from?

All-new characters and world.

A small, coastal village is home to normal people living quiet and simple lives until a shipwreck brings a small coffin and its smaller occupant into their midst. What begins as a miracle soon takes a turn toward the horrible in this ghostly tale from celebrated Hellboy creator Mike Mignola and artist extraordinaire Rachele Aragno (Mel the Chosen)! The first issue of a new series of stories, Leonide the Vampyr is shiveringly spectacular.

PLOT

The remains of a ship that was shipwrecked arrive at a coastal town, but without any crew, only a sarcophagus with a girl, named Leonide, who wakes up.

The town celebrates the arrival of this girl and that she survived the accident, what they do not know is that she is actually an evil being who steals the soul of her victims and her father is a giant bat.

This comic first shows her appearance and as she attacks, we also get to know who her nemesis seems to be, the corpse of a priest who died years ago and comes back to life to stop her.

This she promises to be a lethal villain that we hope to face Hellboy soon.

ART

It achieves that gloomy tone of the Hellboy comics but provides detailed and at times somewhat naive art that serves perfectly to highlight the dark side of this girl.

Este comic recuenta la historia de Blanca Nieves y los Siete Enanos pero con Dejah Thoris  como protagonista, por lo tanto vera como Dejah no es una damisela en apuros, todo lo contrario es una guerrera lista para enfrentar las trampas de la malvada madrastra, reina de Helium.

También puede esperarse la aparición de un príncipe azul que puede saltar y correr a altas velocidades proveniente de otro planeta.

Está influenciado por el manga y presenta muchas texturas que le otorga dinamismo. También destaca la sensualidad de esta guerrera/princesa.

La historia es intensa con buenas secuencias de acción y mucha sangre, donde destaca la confianza y tenacidad de esta sensual heroína.

Posee elementos de arte ingenuo que sirven a la perfección para recrear este mundo medieval donde ocurre esta historia. Siempre destacando lo letal/sensual de Vampirella.

Plot

Vampirella lives the story of Little Red Riding Hood but in the bloody way, she somehow is always in the right place when ending evil. The wolf does not know that she is one step forward, and if he is hunting it it is because she wanted it. The story is intense with good sequences of action and a lot of blood, where the trust and tenacity of this sensual heroin stands out. Art It has naive art elements that serve perfectly to recreate this medieval world where this story occurs. Always highlighting the lethal/sensual vampirella.

Acclaimed Artist Gabriel Hernández Walta Joins Mike Mignola for an All-New Hellboy and the B.P.R.D One-Shot

MILWAUKIE, Ore., (March 15, 2022)—This summer, acclaimed artist Gabriel Hernández Walta (The Vision) is illustrating Hellboy and the B.P.R.D.: Old Man Whittier, an all-new terrifying one-shot written by legendary Hellboy creator Mike Mignola. This one-shot marks the very first Hellboy story to be illustrated by Walta, and continues a story that originally began in Mignola’s classic short story Hellboy: The Whittier Legacy.  In Hellboy and the B.P.R.D.: Old Man Whittier, trouble runs in the family. When Catherine Whittier learns she’s inherited the house she grew up in, she knows better than to return home alone. And who better to escort her than Hellboy? After all, with a house with a history like this, “plot” can mean more than just a family graveyard.  “Drawing this Hellboy one-shot has been a dream come true,” said Walta. “I've been a fan of Mike's work for more than thirty years, and having the chance to work with him and the Hellboy team was simply awesome. I also had the chance to draw an old house with cobwebs, ghosts, snakes, and a charismatic red demon wearing a trench coat...what more could I ask for?” “Sometimes my brain won’t let a story die,” said Mignola. “I first introduced the Whittier family back in 2010, but their story wasn’t over, especially when there was a chance to collaborate with the amazing artist Gabriel Hernández Walta.”  Hellboy and the B.P.R.D.: Old Man Whittier is written by Mignola, illustrated by Walta, and lettered by Clem Robins, with a main cover by Walta and a variant cover by Mignola and the award-winning colorist Dave Stewart. The one-shot will be published by Dark Horse Comics on June 22, 2022. The original story Hellboy: The Whittier Legacy is currently in print in Hellboy: The Complete Short Stories Volume 2. The story is also collected in Hellboy Library Edition Volume 6 and Hellboy Volume 11: The Bride of Hell and Others.
