Elvira, la presentadora nocturna de filmes de terror las décadas de 1980 y 1990 encarnada Cassandra Peterson, regresa con aventuras en su formato de cómic. Elvira es una mujer voluptuosa y divertida que ama el género del terror y el look gótico, su película Elvira Mistress of the Dark del año 1988 es de culto. Su principal característica es su agudo sentido del humor/auto-consciente y que frecuentemente rompe la cuarta pared. En este cómic resaltan todas estas cualidades.

Elvira es
contactada con urgencia por su agente para decirle que fue escogida por el excéntrico pero super exitoso director de cine Billy Bullworth (qué
apellido tan extraño, puede tener un doble y divertido significado) cuyo nuevo
misterioso proyecto fílmico The Heart is a Black Lagoon requiere a Elvira como
protagonista.
Entre muchos chistes y situaciones extrañas, Elvira visita el hogar de Bullworth, lugar misterioso lleno de habitaciones con escenografías de sus películas, aunque en sumas cuentas todo parece falso, posiblemente hay algo que es muy real.
David Avallone y Fran Strukan es un equipo creativo astuto, que mediante referencias a películas de terror clásicas nos van llevando por un misterio interesante, es en sí un cómic muy entretenido.
Resumen
Elvira se encuentra con el papel que la inmortalizará en el cine, sin embargo esta película oculta muchos misterios.

Elvira, the late night host of horror films in the 1980s and 1990s incarnated Cassandra Peterson, returns with her adventures in a comic book format. Elvira is a voluptuous and funny woman who loves the horror genre and the gothic look, her film Elvira Mistress of the Dark of the year 1988 is of cult movie. Its main characteristic it's her acute sense of humor / self-conscious and that frequently breaks the fourth wall. This comic highlight all these qualities.

Where does it come from?
This is the first issue of the series, where it is already established that Elvira is this iconic celebrity.
What's going on?
Elvira is contacted urgently by her agent to tell her that she was chosen by the eccentric but super successful film director Billy Bullworth (what a strange surname, can have a double and fun meaning) whose new mysterious film project The Heart is a Black Lagoon requires to Elvira as the protagonist.
Among many jokes and strange situations, Elvira visits the home of Bullworth, a mysterious place full of rooms with scenographies of his films, although at the most everything seems false, possibly something that is very real.
David Avallone and Fran Strukan is a clever creative team, which through references to classic horror films lead us to an interesting mystery, is in itself a very entertaining comic.
Summary
Elvira meets the role that will immortalize her in the cinema, however this film hides many mysteries.
