Elvira, la presentadora nocturna de filmes de terror las décadas de 1980 y 1990 encarnada Cassandra Peterson, regresa con aventuras en su formato de cómic. Elvira es una mujer voluptuosa y divertida que ama el género del terror y el look gótico, su película Elvira Mistress of the Dark del año 1988 es de culto. Su principal característica es su agudo sentido del humor/auto-consciente y que frecuentemente rompe la cuarta pared. En este cómic resaltan todas estas cualidades.

Elvira, the late night host of horror films in the 1980s and 1990s incarnated Cassandra Peterson, returns with her adventures in a comic book format. Elvira is a voluptuous and funny woman who loves the horror genre and the gothic look, her film Elvira Mistress of the Dark of the year 1988 is of cult movie. Its main characteristic it's her acute sense of humor / self-conscious and that frequently breaks the fourth wall. This comic highlight all these qualities.

In The Shape of Elvira # 1, Elvira is hired as the protagonist of a horror movie where a being of the swamp and her character falls in love, the detail is that there is a mystery hidden in that production.
What's going on?
Elvira begins to work on the film, while her co-protagonist never takes off the "disguise" or leaves the character, which generates suspicions to Elvira.
Everything gets complicated when Elvira mysteriously loses consciousness.
This comic has a precise art and the right tone of the B films of the 1960s thanks to Fran Strukan, with a fun script and hilarious pop culture references where David Avallone stands out.
There is a reference to Beauty and the Beast that will make you laugh.
