En KING IN BLACK RETURN OF VALKYRIES #1 Sentry esta muy desanimado y frustrado porque luchar contra la oscuridad y contra Knull era su destino, sin embargo Jane lo debe llevar al Valhalla, pero algo terrible aparece, la muerte se fusiona con un Celestial, convirtiéndose en un ente aún más poderoso y se lleva el alma The Sentry.
En otro mundo esta una Valquiria, que vive un loop de recuerdos sin fin, hasta que la batalla de Jane para salvar a Sentry la despierta y se une a la batalla. Esta nueva Valquiria es una guerrera ancestral, recuerda eventos muy antiguos.
Este cómic sirve de apoyo al evento King in Black.
Trama
En la tierra Dani Moonstar (quien fue una Valquiria) lucha contra el ataque de Knull, quien pronto recibirá ayuda de Jane y Hildegarde.
Brunilde sabe quién era ella y conoció al amor de su vida, Alta, y le indica donde puede recuperar su arma legendaria, el hacha janbjorn en manos del rey ladrón Valandi.
Este cómic tiene una interesante revelación del origen de Knull. Knull es un dios que decapitó a un Celestial, cuya cabeza flotante luego se llamo Knowhere, a causa de esto Knull fue rechazado y fustigado. Durante siglos se recluyó dentro de la cabeza del Celestial y forjo su espada Necrosword, arma que luego uso Gorr el God Slayer (Leer Thor God Butcher)
Los otros Celestials usaron el cuerpo decapitado para crear un mundo, World of Death, el mundo de la muerte, una especie de prisión donde no se puede salir. Este mundo esta conectado con la Necrosword de Knull, mientras Knull le mande almas, este mundo seguira otrogando energia a la espada. Este lugar fue el que se llevo a Sentry y es donde la nueva Valquiria lleva siglos perdida y la aparición de Jane la ayudo a escapar. Ella estaba presa en este lugar debido a que intento recuperar a Alta, su pareja.
Este cómic aporta mucho al evento King in Black, ya saben de donde viene el poder de Knull. La dupla Aaron y Gronbekk están creando una historia épica que fluye con naturalidad en el Universo Marvel.
Arte
El arte resalta la belleza y poder de las Valquirias, mostrando acción, terror y mucho drama humano, resaltando con éxito las emociones, sobretodo el dolor de una pérdida.

In KING IN BLACK RETURN OF VALKYRIES # 1 Sentry is very discouraged and frustrated because fighting against the darkness and against Knull was his destiny, however Jane must take him to Valhalla, but something terrible appears, death merges with a Celestial, becoming into an even more powerful entity and takes the soul The Sentry.
In another world is a Valkyrie, who lives an endless loop of memories, until Jane's battle to save Sentry awakens her and she joins the battle. This new Valkyrie is an ancient warrior, she remembers very old events.
This comic supports the King in Black event.
Plot
On earth Dani Moonstar (who was a Valkyrie) fights against Knull's attack, who will soon receive help from Jane and Hildegarde.
Brunilde knows who she was and met the love of her life, Alta, and shows her where she can retrieve her legendary weapon, the janbjorn ax in the hands of the Thief King Valandi.
This comic has an interesting reveal of Knull's origin. Knull is a god who beheaded a Celestial, whose floating head was later named Knowhere, because of this Knull was rejected from other gods. For centuries he secluded himself within the head of the Celestial and forged his sword Necrosword, a weapon that Gorr the God Slayer later used (Read Thor God Butcher)
The other Celestials used the decapitated body to create a world, World of Death, the world of death, a kind of prison where you cannot get out. This world is connected to Knull's Necrosword, as long as Knull sends him souls, this world will continue to give energy to the sword.
This place was the one that took Sentry and it is where the new Valkyrie has been lost for centuries and the appearance of Jane helped her escape from it. She was imprisoned in this place because she tried to recover Alta, her partner.
This comic brings a lot to the King in Black event, you know where the power of Knull comes from. The Aaron and Gronbekk duo are creating an epic story that flows naturally in the Marvel Universe.
Art
The art highlights the beauty and power of the Valkyries, showing action, terror and a lot of human drama, successfully highlighting the emotions, especially the pain of loss and failure.
