¿De qué viene?

Frank Castle emprende la misión suicida para rescatar a Nick Fury. Pero si conoces a Frank Castle, no es él el que suele acabar muerto en una situación imposible. Sin embargo, la CIA no entiende del todo las capacidades de Castle y emplea medidas drásticas para asegurarse de que Castle y Fury no salgan vivos de Hanoi.

Trama

La amante de Nick Fury y su hija le dan a Frank Castle información clave para poder llegar a la cárcel donde tienen encerrado a Nick Fury, la ex-amante de Fury revela que ella se quedó esperan que la ayudaran a salir de Vietnam, por lo que tuvo que vender su cuerpo para poder salvarse de la reputación que tenía su famili a de ayudar al gobierno de EE.UU y Francia. La hoja de Nick odia a su padre y a todos los hombres que le han hecho daño a su madre.

El plan de Frank Castle sigue funcionando a la perfección y la matanza comienza, sin embargo ellos están en la zona enemiga y rodeados de muchos enemigos.

Por otro lado la C.I.A ya tiene un escuadrón élite de asesinos para eliminar a Frank y Nick y así ocultar el narcotráfico que tiene el el gobierno de EE.UU en Vietnam.

Esta miniserie que mezcla el género bélico con el de superhéroes en un momento clave de la Historia Contemporánea, donde Garth Ennis demuestra su amor por las historias de guerra y logra crear esta atmósfera hiperviolenta en el universo Marvel.

Arte 

Es un arte muy detallado, con matices de cómics de la década de 1980 así como su paleta de colores, esta década la Guerra de Vietnam se convirtió en un género fílmico. Los detalles del armamento, paisajes, uniformes son hipnotizantes.

What does it come from?

Frank Castle begins the suicide mission to rescue Nick Fury. But if you know Frank Castle, he's not usually the one who ends up dead in an impossible situation. The C.I.A., however, don't quite understand Castle's capabilities and employ drastic measures to ensure that Castle and Fury don't leave Hanoi alive.

Plot

Nick Fury's lover and her daughter give Frank Castle key information to get to the prison where Nick Fury is locked up. Fury's ex-lover reveals that she was waiting for help to get out of Vietnam, so she had to sell her body to save herself from the reputation her family had for helping the US and French governments. Nick's blade hates his father and all the men who have hurt his mother.

Frank Castle's plan continues to work perfectly and the killing begins, however they are in the enemy zone and surrounded by many enemies.

On the other hand, the C.I.A already has an elite squad of assassins to eliminate Frank and Nick and thus hide the drug trafficking that the US government has in Vietnam.

This miniseries mixes the war genre with that of superheroes at a key moment in Contemporary History, where Garth Ennis shows his love for war stories and manages to create this hyperviolent atmosphere in the Marvel universe.

Art

It is a very detailed art, with nuances of comics from the 1980s as well as its color palette, this decade the Vietnam War became a film genre. The details of the weapons, landscapes, uniforms are mesmerizing.

Summary

Frank Castle is already close to rescuing Nick Gury with the great help of a betrayed lover
