Tras exitosos one-shots como Marvel Rivals #1 y el próximo Marvel Rivals: Ignite #1, MARVEL RIVALS: HELLFIRE GALA #1 recopila el reciente arco argumental de Hellfire Gala del cómic Marvel Rivals Infinity, publicado por primera vez. Vinculada directamente con la última temporada de Marvel Rivals, la historia del escritor Paul Allor y los artistas Luca Claretti, Daniel Scalisi e Ig Guara presenta los deslumbrantes diseños de vestuario del juego y está protagonizada por el nuevo personaje jugable, Emma Frost, quien toma el control junto a sus compañeros héroes para salvar la noche más importante de la raza mutante de una invasión de Ultrón.

Respuesta: Nadie, ¡pero no está observando el decoro! La máquina viviente ha puesto sus miras en Cerebro, el dispositivo que contiene el archivo de todo el ADN mutante y la clave para su protocolo de resurrección. ¿Podrán los héroes contener sus oleadas de drones y salvar la reliquia más preciada de la raza mutante? ¿Podrán los héroes decidir cuál es la mejor manera de actuar? ¿Conseguirán Chica Ardilla, Jeff, Rocket y la Mole llegar a la batalla o simplemente disfrutarán de su fiesta privada en la playa en las costas de Krakoa? ¡Todo se revelará en el cómic!
En una entrevista reciente con Marvel.com, Allor explicó su proceso creativo para contar historias ambientadas en el universo de Marvel Rivals. "Comienza, por supuesto, con el propio juego, que se centra principalmente en la lucha, pero también presenta un mundo rico con una increíble variedad de personajes, héroes y villanos, todos enfrentados", dijo. "Así que usamos la historia de esta nueva temporada como punto de partida, a la vez que profundizamos en los personajes, quienes se enfrentan a una amenaza existencial y deben tomar decisiones difíciles para lidiar con ella".

Answer: No one – but he’s not observing decorum! The living machine has set his sights on Cerebro, the device holding the archive of all mutant DNA and the key to their resurrection protocol! Can the heroes hold back his waves of drones and save the most precious relic of mutantkind? Can the heroes decide on the best course of action? And will Squirrel Girl, Jeff, Rocket and the Thing make it to the battle or just hang out at their private beach party on the Krakoan shores? All will be revealed within!
In a recent interview with Marvel.com, Allor explained his creative process for telling stories set in the Marvel Rivals universe. “It starts, of course, with the game itself, which is primarily focused on the fightin’ but also showcases a rich world with an incredible tapestry of characters, heroes and villains, all at loggerheads,” he said. “So we used the story of this new season as a jumping-off point, while also going deeper into the characters, as they face an existential threat, and must make some excruciating choices in deciding how to deal with it.”
