¿De qué viene?
El asedio continúa con los últimos humanos de la Tierra atrapados tras los muros de la Ciudad del Vaticano, mientras miles de millones de vampiros esperan afuera, temerosos de las reliquias sagradas. Pero algo yace enterrado bajo el propio Vaticano, y los vampiros lo desean más que la sangre humana que contiene.

Trama
El planeta en ruinas y las otras potencias del mundo temen que esta ola de destrucción que acabó con EE.UU llegue a sus fronteras, sin tener idea de lo que ocurre en el Vaticano.
El Monseñor que sobrevivió les explica a Guido y a los otros sobrevivientes la importancia que tiene la Biblioteca del Vaticano, llena de secretos y artefactos olvidados, sin embargo Guido quiere que le muestren las alarmas que tienen para una contingencia, es cuando descubre gas venenoso.
Monseñor revela que la reina de los vampiros se llama GEL GORGE-EH, una demonio que rigió por veinte mil años a la humanidad, en una oscuridad terrible, el Vaticano la llamó la Era de Nosferatu, que culmina cuando la sepultaron en la basílica de San Pedro.
Revelan que las pirámides fueron construidas por los vampiros.
El Doctor Derrida, la autoridad mundial en arqueología sigue excavando y logran dar con el sarcófago de la Reina de los Vampiros, pero son atacados con gas venenoso y mueren, los vampiros responden con una ayque de misiles y es cuando Guido se comunica con el Vampiro y le pide una avion asi como alimentos para todos a cambio de no destruir el sarcófago. Guido es piloto y desea ver cómo escapar de este lugar, pero debe tener en su poder a GEL GORGE-EH.
Millar reimagina este escalofriante escenario mundial donde el destino de todos depende de las decisiones de un explosivo piloto y veterano de la guerra, donde haber encubierto la historia hizo que se repitiera logrando un balance perfecto entre terror sobrenatural y teorías de conspiración sobre los secretos ocultos de una de las organizaciones religiosas más poderosas y longevas de la historia de la humanidad.
Arte
Con una característica postimpresionista, Per Berg rescata a la perfección el terror del caos, mezclado con el carácter lúgubre de los vampiros mediante sus trazos asimétricos y caricaturescos. Es un arte desafiante y atrevido, muy diferente a cualquier artista que forma parte de la línea editorial de Millarworld, con el cual te familiarizas y aprecias cada vez más con cada nueva lectura.

Synopsis
The siege continues with the last humans on Earth trapped behind the walls of Vatican City as billions of vampires wait outside, afraid of the holy relics. But something is buried beneath the Vatican itself and the vampires want it more than even the human blood inside.

Plot
The ruined planet and the other world powers fear that this wave of destruction that wiped out the United States will reach their borders, unaware of what is happening in the Vatican.
The surviving Monsignor explains to Guido and the other survivors the importance of the Vatican Library, full of secrets and forgotten artifacts. However, Guido wants them to show him the alarms they have in place for a contingency, and that's when he discovers poisonous gas.
The Monsignor reveals that the queen of the vampires is called GEL GORGE-EH, a demon who ruled humanity for 20,000 years, in a terrible darkness the Vatican called the Age of Nosferatu, which culminates when she is buried in St. Peter's Basilica.
It is revealed that the pyramids were built by vampires.
Dr. Derrida, the world authority on archaeology, continues excavating and manages to find the sarcophagus of the Queen of the Vampires. However, they are attacked with poison gas and die. The vampires respond with a missile attack, and that's when Guido contacts the Vampire and asks for a plane and food for everyone in exchange for not destroying the sarcophagus. Guido is a pilot and wants to find a way to escape from this place, but he must have GEL GORGE-EH in his possession.
Millar reimagines this chilling global setting where everyone's fate depends on the decisions of an explosive pilot and war veteran. Having covered up history caused it to repeat itself, he achieves a perfect balance between supernatural terror and conspiracy theories about the hidden secrets of one of the most powerful and long-standing religious organizations in human history.
Art
With a post-impressionist quality, Per Berg perfectly captures the terror of chaos, blending with the gloom of vampires through his asymmetrical and cartoonish lines. It's a challenging and daring art, very different from any other artist in the Millarworld editorial line, one you become more familiar and appreciate it more with each new reading.
Summary
Guido comes up with a way to gain a strategic advantage against this vampire attack: to kidnap what they most desire
