¿De qué viene?

La conclusión del arco argumental de “El Cuervo” presenta una batalla campal entre los cazarrecompensas y los bandidos. Aunque están en gran inferioridad numérica, Usagi y los cazarrecompensas confían en que pueden igualar las probabilidades tomando a los criminales por sorpresa. Trama

What does it come from?

The conclusion of “The Crow” story arc features an all-out battle between the bounty hunters and the bandits! Though greatly outnumbered, Usagi and the bounty hunters are confident they can even the odds by taking the criminals by surprise. Their plans go awry, however, and the bandit chief, Jimmu, abandons his men to make his escape. One goes after him, but they’re surprised by an unexpected attack!

Return of longtime Usagi fan-favorites Gen and Stray Dog!

Series finale!

Plot

Usagi, Gen, Stray Dog and Yukichi accompanied by Inuyoshi's men attack Jimmu's army, it is a battle with many deaths and sword fight sequences.

Inuyoshi corners Jimmu and fights, but Jimmu's crow distracts him and he falls seriously injured, that is when Yukichi kills Jimmu. Inuyoshi gives Yukichi his sword as payment for everything he did to him.

At the end it is hopeful, because it ends with Inukai using the reward money to help an orphanage that accepts Isamu as another orphan of this family.

Exciting closing of this Usagi's story arc full of colors, that has all the ingredients that Stan Sakai has been perfecting, mystery, sword fight, Japanese mythology, terror and that hypnotizing and dizzying narrative rhythm.

Art

It's a mix of naive art, with cartoons but with the unique imprint of Stan Sakai, who never disappoints and shows an impressive evolution. The colors are beautiful and highlight all those unique strokes of Stan, it's a visual delight.

What does it come from?

Usagi, Gen, and Stray Dog have discovered where the rival bounty hunter group—led by the ruthless Inuyoshi—is holding Yukichi hostage. The rescue attempt leads to a huge confrontation, but they receive news that may force the vicious enemies to form an uneasy alliance.

Plot

Usagi pays a young man named Isamu to give her the location of the castle where Inuyoshi is keeping Yukichi trapped.

Usagi, Gen and Stray Dog free Yukichi, Inuyoshi's men pounce on them, but before starting the battle, a messenger from Inuyoshi warns that Jimmu has an army and kidnapped Iwata's food shipment, so Inuyoshi prefers make an alliance with Usagi to stop Jimmu.

What does it come from?

The bandit Jimmu and his band attack a merchant caravan, as observed by some bounty hunters who are unprepared for the size of Jimmu's army. The bounty hunters' leader has captured Yukichi and is holding him hostage until Usagi, Gen, and Stray Dog leave the area. Usagi is shocked when he learns the identity of the leader.

Plot

Yukichi is still trapped by a bounty hunter who wants Usagi to catch Jimmu, in that town everyone is very corrupt and Usagi is going to get a clue in exchange for money.

On the other hand they show how Jimmu attacks using his crow as his eyes in the sky, he is ruthless. Two escape his attack and the revelations they make to each other when they think they were going to die are hilarious.

This installment focuses on showing how Usagi and Yukichi are involved in pressing circumstances in a town in declining morals.

Plot
