¿De qué viene?

UNA VEZ DUENDE… Norman Osborn puede no ser el verdadero Spider-Man, pero es el Spider-Man que Nueva York tiene. A pesar de que Norman hace todo lo posible por hacer el bien, todos, incluidos los aliados de Peter Parker, intentan acabar con él. Y alguien o algo está cazando DUENDES… ¡y por fin están listos para activar su aterradora trampa!

Trama

Norman Osborn se confiesa con JJ Jameson y deja claro sus acciones para cubrir el vacío de Peter Parker.

Por otro lado los otros héroes arácnidos tratan de resolver qué hacer con Norman Osborn y un robot está cazando a los Duendes de manera letal.

Arte 

John Romita Jr logra ese tono tétrico y lúgubre de esta situación y lo incorpora al lenguaje corporal único que le otorga a Spider-man con su arte. Es un privilegio leer cómics ilustrados por esta leyenda que siempre evoluciona en usarte. JRJR siempre muestra una o varias páginas splash que definen el cómic. Las páginas Splash invertidas son un toque retro espectacular.

Despite Norman doing his very best to do good, everyone, including Peter Parker's allies, is trying to take him down. And someone or something(s) is hunting GOBLINS…and they're finally ready to spring their terrifying trap!

Plot

Norman Osborn confesses to J. Jonah Jameson and explains his actions to fill the void left by Peter Parker.

Meanwhile, the other Spider-Men try to figure out what to do about Norman Osborn, and a robot is hunting the Green Goblins with deadly force.

Art

John Romita Jr. perfectly captures the dark and somber tone of this situation and incorporates it into the unique visual language he gives Spider-Man. It's a privilege to read comics illustrated by this legend, who is always evolving his art. JRJR always includes one or more splash pages that define the comic. The inverted splash pages are a spectacular retro touch.

Mark Millar y John Romita Jr. el equipo de Kick-Ass y Wolverine se reunieron en mayo 2025 de nuevo para Psychic Sam Volumen 1 a través del plataforma Kickstarter, con este proyecto ya finalizado, hoy revelaron a través del newsletter de Millar  (pueden suscribirse aquí https://www.mrmarkmillar.com/newsletter) las tres primeras páginas del VOLUMEN 2 y al mismo tiempo aquellos que apoyaron este proyecto recibieron las primeras nueve en su email.

A principios de 2026 se activará el proyecto Psychic Sam volumen 2 en Kickstarter, así como su otro proyecto CONQUERED Volu2 me con Valerio Giangiordano ambas con la editorial Side Hustle Comics.

Trama 

Millar y Romita regresan con este nuevo proyecto que al igual que Kick-Ass, deconstruyen la mitología del vigilante y refrescan el arquetipo del antihéroe. 

Sam es un chofer de camiones que lucha por mantenerse financieramente con su esposa Annie, cuando de repente una voces empiezan a decirle y mostrarle un asesinato horrendo, esta conmoción le hace tener un accidente. Sam es un personaje con el cual es fácil identificarse, con un gran corazón que lucha día a día por sobrevivir con su esposa y tratar de mantener una familia.

Luego de recuperarse descubre que su premonición fue cierta, por lo que empieza a tener varios eventos con una precisión impresionante, los percibe justamente 24 horas antes de que ocurran. Atormentado Sam decide detener a estos futuros asesinos, pero para eso debe ensuciarse sus manos de sangre, donde aún no hay respuestas de lo que ocurre, pero no es una coincidencia, ya que su poder le permite descubrir algo impactante en cu círculo de personas cercanas, que es el giro más potente en la trama.

Esta premisa genial que mezcla crimen callejero, con eventos paranormales ejecutado por un vigilante sin experiencia o el temple de detener a asesinos y psicópatas.

El ritmo narrativo de Millar es vertiginoso, intenso y cada diálogo es clave, las secuencias de acción son impactantes.

Arte 

John Romita Jr. demuestra sus habilidades artísticas, con esa impronta impresionante, llena de detalles donde su visión plasma la anatomía y expresiones faciales con un dinamismo hipnotizante, con varias páginas splash que parecen salir disparadas del cómic hacia tu cara ofreciendo jumpscare de lectura. Los colores de Crabtee destacan los diferentes niveles de tensión de la trama.

Tuvimos el privilegio de leer la versión Artist Edition y Magazine de esta proyecto, por lo tanto permitió analizar por separado cada aporte artístico de cada uno de los integrantes por separado, en blanco y negro se puede evidenciar como Romita y Janson son un equipo creativo impresionante, juntos logran un arte visualmente adictivo.

Por otro parte las rotulaciones de Robins están ubicadas de la mejor manera que no ocultan los mejores detalles artísticos y ayudan a mantener la secuencia visual de lectura orgánica.

Synopsis

Sam Nicoletti hears a voice in his head the day before something terrible happens. The voice tells him the name and address of a killer, and if he ignores it, an innocent person will die. At first, he thought he was going crazy, but as the bodies pile up, he realizes he needs to do something, and after a while, he learns of a murder so horrific that he needs to intervene.

What would YOU do in this situation? You'd call the police, and they'd think you were crazy because nothing bad has happened yet. But unless you take action, innocent people will suffer.

Plot

Millar and Romita return with this new project which, like Kick-Ass, deconstructs the vigilante mythology and refreshes the antihero archetype.

Sam is a truck driver struggling to support his wife, Annie, when suddenly voices begin telling him and showing him a horrific murder. This shock causes him to have an accident. Sam is an easily relatable character, with a big heart who fights daily to survive with his wife and try to support his family.

After recovering, he discovers that his premonition was true, and he begins to experience several events with impressive accuracy, perceiving them exactly 24 hours before they happen. Tormented, Sam decides to stop these future killers, but to do so he must get his hands dirty with blood. There are still no answers about what is happening, but it's not a coincidence, as his power allows him to uncover something shocking in his inner circle, which is the most powerful twist in the plot.

This brilliant premise blends street crime with paranormal events, all handled by an inexperienced vigilante with the nerve to stop killers and psychopaths.

Millar's narrative pace is breakneck and intense, with every line of dialogue crucial, and the action sequences are breathtaking.

Art

John Romita Jr. demonstrates his artistic skills with his impressive style, full of detail. His vision captures anatomy and facial expressions with mesmerizing dynamism, featuring several splash pages that seem to leap off the page and into your face, delivering jump scares. Crabtee's colors highlight the different levels of tension in the plot.

We had the privilege of reading the Artist Edition and Magazine versions of this project, allowing us to analyze each artist's contribution separately. In black and white, it's evident how Romita and Janson form an impressive creative team, achieving visually addictive art together.

On the other hand, Robins' lettering is positioned in the best way so as not to obscure the best artistic details and to help maintain the organic visual reading sequence.

¿De qué viene?

¡Los tiempos de piedad de Wilson Fisk han terminado! Al regresar a Hell's Kitchen, un barrio plagado de actos sacrílegos, Daredevil y Elektra deberán dejar a un lado sus diferencias para detener la ola de blasfemia del Kingpin. ¿Lograrán los amantes, ahora distanciados, reencontrarse y reconciliarse? ¿O terminarán destruyéndose mutuamente, tal como lo hace Wilson Fisk con su ciudad?

Trama

Daredevil y Elektra se enfrentan a Kingpin quien está en un estado psicótico, haber tenido en su cuerpo un demonio le demostró que su poder no es nada comparado a esa experiencia, por lo que va a buscar un poder más allá de todo.

Elektra y Daredevil luchan contra el, pero sus habilidades físicas son mejores que nunca, es más rápido y letal. Aunque no está claro cómo va conseguir este poder, o si se va convertir en un dios.

El cómic cierra con Fisk huyendo, Matt le propone a Elektra volver juntos, su amor por ella es inmenso y recíproco. Los Daredevil se van a unir como un nuevo equipo letal y  romántico. 

Arte

Es muy detallado y con anatomías bien representadas, así como posos de accion clasicas, es hipnotizante, logrando resaltar la violencia de las escenas del guion

What does it come from?

Wilson Fisk's days of piety are OVER! As he returns to a Hell's Kitchen rife with sacrilege, it's up to the DAREDEVILS, Matt and Elektra, to put aside their differences and stop the Kingpin's blasphemy! But will the estranged lovers find themselves ensnared in one another's arms once more? Or will they tear themselves and each other to pieces as Wilson Fisk does the same to their city?!

Plot

Daredevil and Elektra face off against Kingpin, who is in a psychotic state.  Having possessed a demon within him has shown him that his power is nothing compared to that experience, so he seeks a power beyond all others.

Elektra and Daredevil fight him, but his physical abilities are better than ever; he is faster and more lethal. It's unclear how he will obtain this power, or if he will become a god.

The comic ends with Fisk fleeing. Matt proposes to Elektra that they get back together; his love for her is immense and mutual. The Daredevils will unite as a new, lethal, and romantic team.

Art

It is very detailed, with well-rendered anatomy, and features classic action sequences; it is captivating, effectively highlighting the violence in the script.

Summary

Daredevil and Elektra face a psychotic Kingpin with an even greater thirst for power than ever before

Trama

Daredevil ha vuelto y empieza a limpiar a los criminales de Hell's Kitchen. Pero una llamada de Elektra cambia todo, ya que ella lo lleva a una escena de un crimen, de uno de los directivos de la corporación NOUVELLE, responsable de contratar a Taskmaster para eliminar a Daredevil en la entrega anterior.

La escena del primer crine muestra como desfiguraron a la víctima con una arma láser y escrita en sangre está la frase "CHASTENING OF THE ALMIGHTY" algo como el CASTIGO DEL TODOPODEROSO.

Elektra y Daredevil van a un bar de mala muerte a buscar información cuando son atacados por Wrecker, a quien logran vencer y les da una pista pero de repente escuchan un grito, hay otro asesinato de un ejecutivo de Nouvelle con la misma frase escrita en la pared y todo apunta a que es Kingpin....regresó y quiere eliminar a Nouvelle de su territorio.

Es muy detallado y con anatomías bien representadas, así como posos de accion clasicas, es hipnotizante, logrando resaltar la violencia de las escenas del guion

What does it come from?

BACK IN RED! After a brief interlude and with Bullseye's blood on the Man Without Fear's hands, the streets of Hell's Kitchen are in even more chaos! ELEKTRA and WILSON FISK are both in the wind - and with nobody else to look to, the people of the city need DAREDEVIL more than ever!

Plot

Daredevil is back and begins cleaning up Hell's Kitchen's criminals. But a call from Elektra changes everything, as she leads him to a crime scene involving one of the executives of the NOUVELLE corporation, who was responsible for hiring Taskmaster to eliminate Daredevil in the previous installment.

The first scene shows how the victim was disfigured with a laser weapon, and written in blood is the phrase "CHASTENING OF THE ALMIGHTY," something like PUNISHMENT OF THE ALMIGHTY.

Elektra and Daredevil go to a dive bar to look for information when they are attacked by the Wrecker, whom they manage to defeat and who gives them a lead. But suddenly, they hear a scream. There's been another murder of a Nouvelle executive with the same phrase written on the wall, and everything points to the Kingpin... he's back and wants to eliminate Nouvelle from his territory.

Art

It's highly detailed, with well-rendered anatomy and classic action elements. It's mesmerizing, successfully highlighting the violence of the script's scenes.

Summary

Daredevil and Elektra follow the trail of a series of violent murders that leads them to an old enemy who was thought to be missing.

¿De qué viene?

¡Hora de morir, Spider-Man! La ciudad observa cómo Spider-Man recibe la peor paliza de su vida. ¿Qué puede hacer Spider-Man para recuperarse? 

Trama

Spider-man  lucha con todas sus fuerzas contra Hellgate, al mismo tiempo intenta proteger a los transeúntes que están en el medio de esta batalla.

Spider-man es superdao fisicamente por Hellgate, aunque ambos reciben golpes, Spider-man es es que está más abatido y al proteger a las víctimas queda a la merced de Hellgate. Spider-man rechaza la ayuda de la Captain Kintsugi. Peter durante esta batalla recuerda cuando el Tío Ben le enseñó a boxear y a aprender cuándo retirarse d e una pelea.

Mary Jane ve en la snoticas como Peter es golpeados sin piedad y se dirige a ayudarlo.

Impactante entrega llena de acción y peleas super violentas, donde el misterioso origen de Hellgate aún está por ser revelado.

What does it come from?

TIME TO DIE, SPIDER-MAN! The city watches as Spider-Man takes the worst beating of his life. What can Spider-man do to rally? There MUST be something!

Plot

Spider-Man fights with all his might against Hellgate, while simultaneously trying to protect the bystanders caught in the middle of this battle.

Spider-Man is physically overwhelmed by Hellgate, although both take blows. Spider-Man is more defeated and, by protecting the victims, is at Hellgate's mercy. Spider-Man refuses Captain Kintsugi's help. During this battle, Peter remembers when Uncle Ben taught him how to box and how to learn when to back down from a fight.

Mary Jane sees in the news how Peter is being mercilessly beaten and goes to help him.

A shocking installment full of action and super-violent fights, where the mysterious origin of Hellgate has yet to be revealed.

Art

John Romita Jr. achieves the grim and gloomy tone of this situation and incorporates it into the unique body language he gives Spider-Man with his art.
