Trama

To avert decimation at the hands of a fascistic government crackdown, the Resistance must discover the ace up their sleeve, and then the key to unlocking it.
This is the sequel to The Resistance (J. Michael Straczynski y Mike Deodato Jr.) which tells the story of survivors of a deadly pandemic, where those who overcome the disease awaken with super powers. Volume 1 predicted circumstances similar to Covid19, this volume 2 predicts events of tyrannical governments that occurred in 2021.
Plot
Jeffrey Hasburg appears in public revealing the government conspiracy involving US President Lane, at the time he is going to be assassinated, Sandy saves him. Hasburg announces that he has the evidence for Congress to remove Lane from office.
President Lane launches an attack on the protesters with his elite of Reborns team and a battle begins.
Sandy and James talk about the voices they heard when Lisa died but they touch and merge in SERENITY a cosmic being that was going to use Lisa as a conduit to communicate the goal of the Reborns, this power comes from another planet and the desire is may all Reborn come together as one and change the world for the better, stop the battle between Reborns and threaten governments to stop using these beings for war.
At the end of SENENITY speaking, Sandy and James separate, it is finally understood that the objective of the pandemic and the emergence of new beings with powers is to generate a change for the good of the planet,
The comic closes with important revelations and an explanation of the Reborn, thus closing the second volume of this saga.
