¡AWA ha vuelto a reunir al equipo de Fight Girls: el legendario escritor y artista Frank Cho, la colaboradora colorista Sabine Rich y el destacado rotulista Sal Cipriano, para una nueva edición Fight Girls Deluxe Director's Cut Edition que sera lanzado en Kickstarter!

Frank Cho ampliará las escenas de la historia original para contar el final de Fight Girls de la manera que quería contarlo antes de que el número de páginas lo detuviera: ¡una verdadera versión del director! Con un 10 % más de páginas en esta edición, Frank se sumergirá en la historia de fondo, las peleas y más.

Lanzado originalmente en el verano de 2021 por AWA Studios, Fight Girls de Frank Cho fue una saga de ciencia ficción donde un grupo de mujeres son obligadas a superar una serie de pruebas letales para convertirse en la proxima reina de un planeta.

Trama y Arte

Contra todo pronóstico Tora gana el combate cuerpo a cuerpo contra Xandra, Tora es la nueva "Reina del Imperio Gilmorian" elegida en la ciudad flotante de CALIFAX.

Mientras Xandra escapa, Tora es llevada a los aposentos del rey Rufus, es claro que este rey es detestable por crear esta competencia aparte de ser físicamente abominable, el quiere consumar esta unión a la fuerza, pero usando unos artilugios médicos. Tora se defiende y asesina al rey y graba todo con sus lentes de contacto especial.

Xandra escapa con una nave, todo estaba listo para su partida, pero la revelación más impactante es que Tora y Xandra siempre trabajaron junta y escapan juntas, fueron contratadas por la reina Regina Victoria, quien fue destronada por Rufus. Una venganza justa y magistralmente ejecutada.

Frank Cho cierra esta historia con un giro épico y con secuencias de persecución asombrosas, mostrando en su esplendor el poder femenino, destacando al mismo tiempo la morbosidad de un machismo desproporcionado. Cho ilustra con éxito la fisiología femenina con una visión muy real.

Resumen

Tora y Xandra cumplen su misión, revelando así la misteriosa conspiración.

Plot and Art

Against all odds Tora wins the combat against Xandra, Tora is the new "Queen of the Gilmorian Empire" chosen in the floating city of CALIFAX.

While Xandra escapes, Tora is taken to the chambers of King Rufus, it is clear that this king is detestable for creating this competition apart from being physically abominable, he wants to consummate this union by force, but using medical devices. Tora defends herself and assassinates the king and records all of her with her special contact lenses.

Xandra escapes with a ship, everything was ready for her departure, but the most shocking revelation is that Tora and Xandra always worked together and escape together, they were hired by Queen Regina Victoria, who was dethroned by Rufus. A just and masterfully executed revenge.

Frank Cho closes this story with an epic twist and astonishing chase sequences, showing female power in its splendor, while highlighting the morbidity of a disproportionate machismo. Cho successfully illustrates female physiology with very real insight.

Summary

Tora and Xandra fulfill their mission, thus revealing the mysterious conspiracy.

Trama y Arte

Tora y Xandra luchan por ganar el último desafío, combate cuerpo a cuerpo para determinar quién será la nueva reina.

Mientras tanto el detective Matteo, lucha contra quienes lo quieren detener y no revelar que Xandra es en realidad Blondie, ella robo la identidad de otra para entrar en esta prueba. Matteo no sobrevive.

La batalla entre Xandra y Tora es intensa, con secuencias de pelea reales, movimientos y poses perfectas, es un deleite visual cada una de las páginas de este penúltimo que es intenso y con un final inesperado, revelan quién será la nueva reina.

Frank Cho muestra sus habilidades artísticas y de narrativa convirtiéndolo en uno de los mejores de la industria.

Plot and Art

Tora and Xandra fight to win the last challenge, hand-to-hand combat to determine who will be the new queen.

Meanwhile the detective Matteo, fights against those who want to stop him and not reveal that Xandra is actually Blondie, she stole the identity of another to enter this contest. Matteo does not survive.

The battle between Xandra and Tora is intense, with real fight sequences, movements and perfect poses, it is a visual delight each of the pages of this penultimate that is intense and with an unexpected ending, they reveal who will be the new queen.

Frank Cho showcases his artistic and storytelling skills making him one of the best in the industry.

Trama y Arte

La nueva prueba lleva a las 4 concursantes a una prueba acuática, las concursantes 4 y 8, Tora y Rache se lanzan a nadar sin pensar, mientras la 2, 4 y 10. jaxa, Tora y Pondo, dudan, pero al final todas se lanzan al mar y Xandra aprovecha la fauna marina para llegar de primera y teletransportarse.

En este planeta prehistórico conviven pterodáctilos y megalodones, quienes ejecutan sin piedad a sus presas, en especial Jaxa que aunque es una favorita, no lo logra.

Pero en esta competencia ocurre una falla técnica que evita que la concursante Tora se teletransporte, por lo que ella recurrirá  a su inteligencia para salvarse. Este mundo está plagado de burocracia y leyes que aplican a discreción. 

La batalla por el reinado se reduce a dos.

Frank Cho da una cátedra en anatomía, en este cómic demuestra que es uno de los mejores ilustradores, todas las secuencias que involucran natación son magníficas, claro está que los monstruos involucrados son también grandiosamente ilustrados.

Este cómic posee secuencias intensas y gore.

El misterio del pasado de Xandra sigue aumentando y la conspiración está por destaparse.

Resumen

La batalla final está decidida, pero la conspiración sigue.

Excelente capitulo lleno de suspenso y muchos decesos

Plot and Art

The new test takes the 4 contestants to water, contestants 4 and 8, Tora and Rache jump into swimming without thinking, while the 2, 4 and 10. Jaxa, Tora and Pondo, doubt, but in the end they all They launch into the sea and Xandra takes advantage of the marine fauna to get there first and teleport.

On this prehistoric planet, pterodactyls and megalodons coexist, who mercilessly execute their prey, especially Jaxa, who although she is a favorite, she does not succeed.

But in this competition a technical failure occurs that prevents the contestant Tora from teleporting, so she will turn to her intelligence to save herself from it, this world is riddled with bureaucracy and laws that they apply at will.

The battle for queenship comes down to two.

Frank Cho gives a masterclass in anatomy, in this comic he shows that he is one of the best illustrators, all the sequences that involve swimming are magnificent, of course the monsters involved are also magnificently illustrated.

This comic has intense sequences full of gore.

The mystery of Xandra's past continues to grow and the conspiracy is yet to be uncovered.

Summary

The final battle is decided, but the conspiracy continues.

Excellent chapter full of suspense and many deaths
