Esta serie trae de vuelta al famoso héroe del viejo oeste, cuyas aventuras transcurren a finales del siglo IXX, que apareció por primera vez de la serie radial de la década de 1930, todas sus balas son de plata, lo acompañaba un nativo americano llamado Toro y cabalgaba su corcel llamado Plata. Han hecho series de TV, películas y series animadas de este famoso personaje.

Este volumen recopila The Lone Ranger #1 al #5.

¿De qué viene?

Un senador estatal corrupto conspira con rancheros criminales para colocar cercas con alambres de púas en cualquier lugar, para así hacer que la tierra no sea transitable para los exploradores y las tribus nativas, acaparando el agua y otros recursos. Este político aprueba nuevas leyes que permiten a los ganaderos matar a cualquier persona que sea atrapada cortando los alambres de púas.

¿Qué sucede?

Este complot maléfico ya está en funcionamiento para el momento en que el Llanero Solitario se da cuenta, de manera que se dirige a investigar lo que sucede en una reunión de esta sociedad secreta y es descubierto, así que se desata una espectacular persecución y ponen en manifiesto las habilidades del Llanero.

Hay que acotar que ciertos detalles que le brindan toques adecuados de comedia, por ejemplo la serena personalidad del Llanero cuando a escondidas aprovecha para comer algo mientras espía a este grupo.

Este cómic hace una espectacular introducción del próximo villano, llamado Connor, un asesino habilidoso sin respeto alguno por la vida humana, es un personaje interesante y un villano formidable.

Arte y Trama:

Las secuencias de acción así como la trama son hipnotizantes, los ángulos de los tiroteos, los acercamientos, el drama está bien ejecutado por este equipo creativo de Mark Russel y Bob Q (quien ilustra y da colores, es decir, hace todo el arte) creando una atmósfera interesante para el regreso de este entrañable héroe.

Resumen

Esta nueva aventura del Llanero Solitario presenta en un complot criminal de gran escala donde se necesitará mucho más que balas de plata, este arco argumental toca una interesante historia muy real.

This series brings back the famous hero whose adventures run through the late 19th century, which first appeared in the radio series of the 1930s, his distintive silver bullets, his native American called Toro and his magnificent horse Silver. They have made TV series, movies and animated series of this famous character.

This volume collects from The Lone Ranger # 1 to # 5.

Where does it come from?

A corrupt state senator conspires with criminal ranchers to place fences with barbed wire anywhere, to make the land not passable for explorers and native tribes, monopolizing water and other resources. This politician approves new laws that allow ranchers to kill anyone who is caught cutting the barbed wire.

What's going on?

This evil plot is already in operation by the time the Lone Ranger realizes about it, so he goes to investigate what happens in a meeting of this secret society and is discovered, so a spectacular persecution is unleashed and the Ranger's fighting abilities are shown.

We must note that certain details provides appropriate touches of comedy, for example the serene personality of the Lone Ranger when secretly eats something while spying the bad guys.

This comic makes a spectacular introduction of the next villain, named Connor, a skilled murderer with no respect for human life, is an interesting character and a formidable villain.

Art and Plot:

The action sequences as well as the plot are hypnotizing, the angles of the shootings, the approaches, the drama is well executed by this creative team of Mark Russel and Bob Q (who illustrates and gives colors, that is, does all the art) they bring a new  atmosphere for the return of this beloved hero.

Summary

This new adventure of the Lone Ranger presents in a large-scale criminal plot where it will take much more than silver bullets, this arc is very real and interesting.

Este cómic se dedica a humanizar al espía más famoso y eficiente de la historia, James Bond, ubicándolo en la segunda guerra mundial, la época en que su creador Ian Fleming se lo imaginó, este cómic es lo más fiel a la idea original.

¿De qué viene?

James Bond presencia en carne propia el bombardeo de Clydebank en Escocia por parte de los Nazis el 13 de marzo de 1941, mostrando su lado más humano, aunque fue valiente en tratar de salvar y ayudar, no estaba preparado para poder sobrellevar este ataque, aparte de que si tuviera el entrenamiento necesario podría haber advertido del mismo, es decir, con la información de inteligencia necesaria esto no hubiese ocurrido.

Su sentido de la justicia y su afición por los deportes de contacto empiezan a descifrar su personalidad, este cómic muestra el evento que le dió ignición a este futuro agente secreto.

El cómic usa recuerdos de los días anteriores al bombardeo y durante el bombardeo por lo tanto juegan con abanico de emociones desde el drama hasta la comedia y acción.

James Bond empieza a mostrar sus habilidades natas como agente de espionaje, rama de la defensa de la nación muy nueva, que Bond ayuda a redefinir.

Arte y Trama

Bob Q nos llena de emoción con sus secuencias de acción intensas y llenas de suspenso, esta historia de Jeff Parker debería ser usada en un futuro filme de Bond.

Este cómic muestra lo valioso que puede ser este agente usando su instinto natural de espía. Jeff Parker y Bob Q con éxito nos transportan a la Segunda Guerra Mundial.

This comic is dedicated to humanizing the most famous and efficient spy of the history, James Bond, locating him in the second world war, the original way Ian Flemming envisioned him in the first place.

Where does it come from?

James Bond was present in the flesh of the Clydebank bombing in Scotland by the Nazis on March 13, 1941, showing his more human side, although he was brave in trying to save and help, he was not prepared to cope with this attack, apart that if I had the necessary training he could have warned of it, that is, with the necessary intelligence information this would not have happened.

His sense of justice and his love for contact sports begin to decipher his personality, this comic shows the event that gave ignition to this future secret agent.

The comic uses memories from the days before the bombing and during the bombing they therefore play with a range of emotions from drama to comedy and action.

What's going on?

James Bond begins to show his born abilities as an espionage agent, a very new nation's defense branch, which Bond helps redefine.

Art and Plot

Bob Q fills us with emotion with his intense and suspenseful action sequences, this story by Jeff Parker should be used in a future Bond film.

Summary

This comic shows how valuable this agent can be using his natural spy instinct. Jeff Parker and Bob Q successfully transport us to World War II.

En Lone Ranger #4 Connor logra vencer a Tonto y al Llanero Solitario, sin embargo algo raro sucede con el pago de Connor, desparece de la caja fuerte.

¿Qué sucede?

Connor es un asesino terrible y la falla en su pago significó una guerra con sus contratantes los que originó una gran debilidad en los enemigos del Llanero Solitario, esto es aprovechado.

Esta entrega presenta un desenlace inesperado, donde la astucia gana sobre los asesinatos, la única manera de desarticular la conspiración de Mr Pringle y sus asociados es asfixiar sus finanzas.

Mark Russell y Bob Q completan un interesante primer arco argumental, con un villano digno de ambos héroes.

Resumen

Con mucha conspiración y acción de western cierra el primer arco argumental que refresca este legendario personaje.

Where does comes from?

In Lone Ranger # 4 Connor manages to defeat Tonto and the Lone Ranger, however something strange happens with the payment of Connor, disappears from the safe box.

What's going on?

Connor is a terrible murderer and the failure in his payment meant a war with his contractors which caused a great weakness in the enemies of the Lone Ranger, this war is taken advantage of.

This comic presents an unexpected end, where the cunning wins over the murders, the only way to dismantle the conspiracy of Mr Pringle and his associates is to strangle their finances.

Mark Russell and Bob Q complete an interesting first story arc, with a villain worthy of both heroes.

Summary

With conspiracy and western´s action closes the first story arc that refreshes this legendary character.

Este es un nuevo arco argumental, luego de salvar el submarino de los nazis en James Bond Origins #5, es enviado a Lisboa-Portugal para una nueva misión.

¿Qué sucede?

Portugal en la segunda guerra mundial era un país neutro, que no había tomado bandos pero que tenía a soldados Nazis en sus calles.

La joven Izabel es la hija del panadero y reparte el pan de su padre a comerciantes y particulares, ella detesta a los Nazis e intuye que están persiguiendo a una persona, el doctor Liepzig, ella se concentra en desviar su atención hasta que el espía encargado de trasladarlo aparece, es James Bond.

Sin embargo la juventud de Bond le nubla su juicio al descuidar a Liepzig para salvar a Izabel, lo que le cuesta el fracaso de su misión.

Arte y Trama

La historia de Jeff Parker está llena de misterio, acción y algo de romance, con diálogos portugués bien escritos y respetando sus costumbres lingüísticas, por otro lado Bob Q con acierto retrata la arquitectura, vestimenta y construcciones de Lisboa.

Resumen

Este nuevo arco argumental sube de nivel esta serie, con una historia centrada en los primeros pasos del espionaje británico en la Segunda Guerra Mundial, sin duda alguna este cómic muestra que Jeff Parker y Bob Q han hecho una investigación profunda de esa época de la historia, logrando proyectarla lo más exacto posible.

Where does it come from?

This is a new story arc, after saving the submarine of the Nazis in James Bond Origins #5, is sent to Lisbon-Portugal for a new mission.

What's going on?

Portugal in the Second World War was a neutral country, which had not taken sides but had Nazi soldiers in its streets.

The young Izabel is the baker's daughter and distributes her father's bread to merchants and individuals, she detests the Nazis and senses that they are chasing a person, Dr. Liepzig, she concentrates on diverting her attention until the spy in charge to move him out of Portugal appears, it's James Bond.

However Bond's youth clouds his judgment by neglecting Liepzig to save Izabel, which costs him a lot.

Art and Plot

The story of Jeff Parker is full of mystery, action and some romance, with well-written Portuguese dialogues and respecting their linguistic customs, on the other hand Bob Q aptly portrays the architecture, clothing and constructions of Lisbon.

Summary

This new story arc level up this series, with a story focused on the first steps of British espionage in World War II, no doubt this comic shows that Jeff Parker and Bob Q have made a thorough investigation of that time in history , managing to project it as accurate as possible.

Sherlock Holmes consigue un caso interesante donde desaparece un hombre ejemplar, sin dejar rastro, solo su esposa, suegra e hijos, pero el detalle es que nadie conoce a profundidad a Michael Williams, el hombre que se desvaneció.

Este libro colecciona SHERLOCK HOLMES VANISHING MAN #1 al #4.

¿Qué sucede?

Sherlock sigue la pista de Michael Williams, descubriendo poco a poco que su desaparición fue adrede, contratarlo fue un reto para demostrar que esta persona nunca aparecerá, si no la consigue Holmes, no la consigue nadie. El detalle es que este detective no se detendrá hasta saber la verdad.

Esta desaparición destapa un complot que involucra muchas muertes y corrupción.

En esta entrega aparecerán personajes importantes como Lestrade, Mrs Hudson y por supuesto el malvado Doctor Moriarty, que no está relacionado con el misterio de Michael Williams, pero causa molestias en la vida de Holmes.

La historia de Moore y Reppion respeta el legado de Holmes, apoyada con un arte bien estructurado y adecuado por parte de Julius Otha, el suspenso, misterio, drama y acción están perfectamente balanceados.

This book collects SHERLOCK HOLMES VANISHING MAN # 1 to # 4.

What happens?

Sherlock follows the trail of Michael Williams, discovering little by little that his disappearance was purposely, hiring him was a challenge to prove that this person will never appear, if Holmes does not get it, nobody gets it. The detail is that this detective will not stop until he knows the truth.

This disappearance uncovers a plot that involves many deaths and corruption.

In this issue will appear important personalities like Lestrade, Mrs Hudson and of course the evil Doctor Moriarty, that is not related to the mystery of Michael Williams, but causes annoyances in the life of Holmes.


Art and Plot
The story of Moore and Reppion respects the legacy of Holmes, supported by a well-structured and appropriate art by Julius Otha, suspense, mystery, drama and action are perfectly balanced.

Summary

This miniseries has all the interesting elements of the Sherlock Holmes stories and nurtures it with a story about gender equality and includes the corrupt designs of people in power.
