Dynamite comics lanza una nueva serie basada en la legendaria banda de hard rock Kiss, famosa por sus shows cargados de efectos especiales y terror, donde sus cuatro integrantes llevan un maquillaje especifico. En KISS BLOOD AND STARDUST #1 Lilith, reina demonio del infierno, les ordena Kiss a detener al famoso cantante de rock Derek Crowley, porque Crowley es un vampiro con una agenda de destrucción que traicionó a Lilith.

Lilith explica con detalle de dónde viene y cuál es su plan con la tierra, hace entender a Kiss que el mundo está en peligro por lo que quiere hacer Derek Crowley, también les narra cómo se puso en contacto con el y cómo lo ayudó a ser una estrella del rock en 1969.
Es muy interesante los intercambios entre Demon y Lilith, una conversación que casi llega a una discusión, donde Demon le aclara que ellos son poderosos y no importa lo que les haga siempre serán Kiss.
Este cómic baja la acción y es más narrativo, por lo que esta entrega es muy importante en términos de desarrollar la trama.
