El verdadero nombre de Jungle Girl es Jana Sky-Born, una joven que ha vivido en una isla misteriosa llena de animales extraños la mayor parte de su vida. Todavía se desconoce si los padres de Jana la dieron a luz y la dejaron en la isla, o si ella estaba en un barco y quedó varada en la isla. La ubicación exacta de la isla no está especificada. La selva está poblada por dinosaurios, bestias prehistóricas y hombres de las cavernas.

Ella es una guerrera experta, exploradora con agilidad sobrehumana capaz de defenderse de cualquier peligro, su belleza se equipara con su valentía.

¿De qué viene?

La vida pacífica de Jana se interrumpe cuando un avión que transporta a un grupo de aventureros (algunos de ellos traficantes de drogas) se estrella en su jungla. Después de salvar a los aventureros de una tribu nativa, ella decidió mantenerlos a salvo hasta que otro avión venga a rescatarlos.

¿Qué sucede?

En la primera temporada Jana intenta llevar a este grupo de aventureros a un lugar a salvo mientras esquivan todo tipo de peligro.No todos logran salvarse, debido a que no siguen las órdenes de Jana, hay una pelea entre Jana y Carole que es epica. 

La temporada dos, comienza con la aparición de un transbordador espacial que se estrella en esta isla, Jana acompañada del último aventurero buscan llegar a este misterio y se topan con un submarino, Jana está teniendo contacto con todo tipo de artefacto moderno, luego es secuestrada por un horrible monstruo del fondo del mar quien la necesita como sacrificio.

En la temporada tres Jana se enfrenta a seres de otro planeta mientras debe detener a la Gente Sucia, los habitantes de la isla que quieren gobernarla. Durante esta historia Jana es ayudada por un holograma de su padre que está atrapado en esa nave.

Arte

Para las temporadas uno y dos se encargó el ilustrador Adriano Batista, quien supo balancear la rudeza física de Jana con su impactante sensualidad. La temporada tres estuvo en manos de Jack Jadson quien se dedicó más en resaltar las naves y ambientes donde ocurre la historia.

Resumen

Jungle Girl es un cómic dedicado a mostrar el poder femenino a través de la acción en un mundo primitivo desconocido donde esta heroína está por encima de cualquier banalidad.

Jungle Girl's real name is Jana Sky-Born, a young woman who has been living on an island in the jungle for most of (if not all) of her life. It is still unknown if Jana's parents gave birth to her and left her on the island, or if she was on a ship and was stranded on the island. The exact location of the island is not specified. The jungle is populated by dinosaurs, prehistoric beasts, and cavemen.

She is an expert warrior, explorer with superhuman agility capable of defending herself from humans, animals and primitive monsters, her beauty is equated with her bravery.

What does it come from?

Jana's peaceful life is interrupted, when a plane carrying a group of adventurers (some of them being drug smugglers) crash-lands in her jungle. After saving the adventurers from a native tribe, she has decided to keep them safe until another plane comes to rescue them.

What's going on?

In Season One Jana tries to take this group of adventurers to a safe place while dodging all kinds of danger. Not all of them manage to save themselves, because they do not follow Jana's orders, there is a fight between Jana and Carole that is epic.

The season two begins with the appearance of a space shuttle that crashes on this island, Jana accompanied by the last adventurer and Togg  wento to find out about this mystery and they run into a submarine, Jana is having contact with all kinds of modern artifacts, then she is kidnapped by a horrible monster from the bottom of the sea who needs her as a sacrifice.

In season three Jana confronts beings from another planet while he must stop the Dirt People, the inhabitants of the island who want to rule the world. During this story Jana is aided by a hologram of her father who is trapped on that ship.

Art

For seasons one and two, illustrator Adriano Batista was commissioned, who knew how to balance Jana's physical rudeness with her stunning sensuality. Season three was in the hands of Jack Jadson who was more dedicated to highlighting the ships and environments where the story occurs.

Summary

Jungle Girl is a comic dedicated to displaying female power through action in an unknown primitive world where this heroine is above any banality.
