Dark Horse Comics adapta el bestseller Mitología Nórdica escrita por Neil Gaiman en formato cómic. El guión es adaptado por P. Craig Russell, con diferentes ilustradores invitados.
¿De Que viene?
El autor número uno del New York Times, Neil Gaiman, y la leyenda de los cómics ganador del premio Eisner, P. Craig Russell, dan nueva vida a las antiguas historias nórdicas al llevar a los lectores a través de la creación de los Nueve Mundos al origen épico y las aventuras de Thor, Odin y Loki hasta el final de la vida: Ragnarok.
TRAMA
El cómic tiene dos historias, la primera es el cierre de APPLES OF IMMORTALITY, donde la gigante Skadi, hija del rey Thiazi, quiere vengarse del asesinato de su padre en manos de Thor.
Thor media en al situación y le promete un esposo Asgardiano para que suplante al rey fallecido y que la hará reír de nuevo. La manera en que escoge a su esposo y lo que tiene que hacer Loki para hacerla reir es hilarante y descabellado, cierra con una bella analogía sobre las estrellas en el cielo cortesía de Odin.
La segunda se llama THE STORY OF GERD AND FREY, narra como el gran Frey, hermano de Freya lo tiene todo pero no tiene éxito en el amor, se enamora de Gerd y la entrega a su sirviente Skirnir su tesoro más poderoso una espada que pelea sola, para que le ayude a casarse con Gerd.
Luego de que se casa con Gerd, llega el Ragnarok y Frey necesita más que nunca su espada.
ARTE
Incluye dos perspectivas artísticas de dos geniales ilustradores, por lo que es un comic integral.

What does it come from?

PLOT
The comic has two stories, the first closes THE APPLES OF IMMORTALITY, where the giant Skadi, daughter of King Thiazi, wants revenge for the murder of her father at the hands of Thor.
Thor mediates the situation and promises her an Asgardian husband to impersonate the deceased king and who will make her laugh again. The way she chooses her husband and what Loki has to do to make her laugh is hilarious and crazy, closes with a beautiful analogy about the stars in the sky courtesy of Odin.
The second is called THE STORY OF GERD AND FREY, it tells how the great Frey, Freya's brother has everything but is unsuccessful in love, falls in love with Gerd and gives his servant Skirnir his most powerful treasure a sword that fights alone, to help him get marry with Gerd.
After he marries Gerd, Ragnarok arrives and Frey needs his sword more than ever.
ART
It includes two artistic perspectives from two great illustrators, making it a comprehensive comic.
Summary
Loki must make a giant laugh and Frey sacrifices his treasure to get everything he wants.
