Sheena debutó en la revista británica Wags # 46 de Joshua B. Power en enero de 1938, creada por Will Eisner y S. M. "Jerry" Iger. Eisner dijo que una inspiración para el nombre del personaje fue la novela de la diosa de la jungla de H. Rider Haggard de 1886, She.
Sheena apareció por primera vez en Estados Unidos en Jumbo Comics # 1 de Fiction House, y posteriormente en cada número (septiembre de 1938 - abril de 1953), este fue el primer cómic en protagonizar un personaje femenino.

Trama
Sheena es atacada dentro del misterioso Biodomo de la corporación Cardwell por un tigre de gran tamaño de ojos rojos brillantes, el equipo de cazadores no sobrevive al ataque, el animal es veloz y letal, pero no le hace dañoa Sheena.
En este lugar Sheena consigue símbolos de nativos americanos y otro cazador muerto, ella sigue recibiendo órdenes de la corporación y de Rachel Cardwell, ellos quieren que ella elimine al tigre, pero el animal supera sus habilidades.
El tigre no la ataca porque la conoce, es de su pasado...
Este capítulo posee un ritmo narrativo acelerado, intenso con terror y misterio.
Arte
Eleva la sensualidad y fuerza física de Sheena y muestra las muertes y las entrañas de las víctimas del tigre con mucho detalle.

PLOT
Sheena is attacked inside the mysterious Cardwell Corporation Biodome by a large tiger with bright red eyes, the hunting team does not survive the attack, the animal is fast and deadly, but it does not harm Sheena.
In this place Sheena gets symbols of Native Americans and another dead hunter, she continues to receive orders from the corporation and Rachel Cardwell, they want her to eliminate the tiger, but the animal exceeds her abilities.
The tiger does not attack her because she knows her, it is from her past ...
This chapter has a fast-paced narrative, intense with terror and mystery.
Art
It elevates Sheena's sensuality and physical strength and shows the deaths and entrails of the tiger victims in great detail.
