La editorial Top Cow ha causado sensación este año al celebrar su 30.º aniversario. Ken Pisani (AMP'D), autor de bestsellers de Los Angeles Times que produjo SOLDIER STORIES dijo: "¡Emocionado de ver la portada variante de la leyenda viviente Marc Silvestri! Conocido por su acción dinámica, Marc eligió una pose tranquila en el breve período posterior a batalla: un soldado solo con sus pensamientos, una imagen tan convincente como cualquier tiroteo".
Top Cow también reveló que la antología contará con un extracto del difunto Denny O'Neil, escritor y editor de muchos cómics de Marvel y DC, incluidos The Amazing Spider-man y Green Lantern/Green Arrow.

SINOPSIS
SOLDIER STORIES presenta cuatro relatos de conflictos militares, todos escritos por veteranos que sirvieron desde la era de Vietnam hasta Afganistán. LOS ANGELES 10/12/2022 — Publisher Top Cow has been making waves this year as they celebrate their 30th anniversary. From an impressive showing at San Diego Comic Con, new comic launches like Zack Kaplan's Metal Society and two projects with EP1T0ME Studios: The Clay People: Colossus and Revolvers, fan-grabbing Kickstarters like The Complete Cyberforce Vol. 1, CEO Marc Silvestri coming out with his own DC Comics Black Label series Batman & The Joker: The Deadly Duo, Ringo Award nominations for series Syphon and more, the publisher decides to give veterans a platform to share their experiences in the service through sequential storytelling with a new anthology Soldier Stories, coming this November 9th, 2022.
With Eisner-nominated artist Billy Tucci (Shi, Batman) already the cover artist for Soldier Stories Cover A, Top Cow revealed Cover B variant by artist Marc Silvestri.

Top Cow also released that the anthology will feature an excerpt by the late Denny O'Neil, writer and editor of many Marvel and DC Comics, including The Amazing Spider-man and Green Lantern/Green Arrow.

Knowing about his Navy service, I had hoped to get a story out of him for the anthology—literally years in the making—but it wasn’t to be.
