Sinopsis:

Escrita por Torunn Gr nbekk y con arte de la superestrella de Red Sonja, Walter Geovani (con colores de Omi Remalante, Jr.), esta nueva serie se sumerge profundamente en el mundo de Sonja, explorando la oscuridad de Hyboria como nunca antes. Y todo esto está envuelto en una increíble serie de versiones: Shannon Maer, Jimmy Cheung, Alan Quah, Bryan Hitch, Joanie Brosas (Cosplay), Jenny Frison y MUCHOS más, ¡incluido el debut en dinamita de Bjorn Barends!
Trama
El cómic narra dos subtramas con seis semanas de diferencia:
La primera muestra al reino de Vestfold, cuyo rey falleció sin descendientes y el Ovispo Thord Varg quiere hacerse del poder y sacrifica a los primeros niños que nacen después de la muerte del rey, todo esto para crear un ambiente de incertidumbre y para provocar lo que será una guerra de invasión a sus vecinos.
Por otro lado Red Sonja es falsamenre acusada del asesinato de Alaberta, por lo que el ejército de su esposo Lord Dragos la persigue. En su búsqueda de la verdad llega a un bar donde todos los hombres son poseídos por un poder maléfico.
Este cómic comienza con una historia que mezcla aventura con terror en el perfecto balance, en una era de bárbaros.
Arte
Posee texturas que le brinda a los detalles un toque retro/vintage que resalta el dinamismo interesante y una paleta de colores frías hacia el azul que le da un buen tono tétrico. Las secuencias de peleas son impresionantes.

Synopsis:
Plot
Following directly from the pages of Red Sonja #0, the She-Devil finds herself on the run, framed for murder, and with an unseen force tugging at the back of her mind. Join Sonja as she races to unravel the mystery of "His Master's Voice!" Written By Torunn Gr nbekk and featuring art by Red Sonja superstar Walter Geovani (with colors by Omi Remalante, Jr.), this brand-new series dives deep into Sonja's world, exploring the darkness of Hyboria like never before. And all this is wrapped up in an amazing series of covers: Shannon Maer, Jimmy Cheung, Alan Quah, Bryan Hitch, Joanie Brosas (Cosplay), Jenny Frison, and MANY more - including the Dynamite Debut of Bjorn Barends!
The comic narrates two subplots six weeks apart:
The first shows the kingdom of Vestfold, whose king died without descendants and the Bishop Thord Varg wants to seize power and sacrifices the first children born after the death of the king, all this to create an environment of uncertainty and to provoke what it will be an invasion war on its neighbors.
On the other hand, Red Sonja is falsely accused of the murder of Alaberta, for which the army of her husband Lord Dragos is tracking her. In her search for the truth, Sonja arrives at a bar where all the men are possessed by an evil power.
This comic begins with a story that mixes adventure with terror in the perfect balance, in an age of barbarians.
Art
It has textures that give the details a retro/vintage touch that highlights the interesting dynamism and a cold color palette towards blue that gives it a good gloomy tone. The fight sequences are awesome.
