Elvira, la presentadora nocturna de filmes de terror las décadas de 1980 y 1990 encarnada Cassandra Peterson, regresa con aventuras en su formato de cómic. Elvira es una mujer voluptuosa y divertida que ama el género del terror y el look gótico, su película Elvira Mistress of the Dark del año 1988 es de culto. Su principal característica es su agudo sentido del humor/auto-consciente y que frecuentemente rompe la cuarta pared. En este cómic resaltan todas estas cualidades.

Trama

Llega el momento final, Elvira se enfrenta sola con todo el ejército de monstruos de Saliva y Vlad, en estos momentos el escritor decide intervenir con unos flashbacks...pero Elvira casi lo evita, las primeras páginas de este comic son autoconscientes e hilarantes, el cameo de David Avallone es épico.

Elvira logra recibir una ayuda importante, porque cual franquicia de películas es mayio que la de monstruos...la de superhéroes, aquí dan a la bienvenida a todos los héroes que conocemos con nombres descabelladamente diferentes pero que los identificas con facilidad, los diálogos son geniales y con referencias hilarantes y perfectas de Marvel y DC.

Elvira se logra librar de sus dos mayores nemesis y del peligroso control de Fellini, pero todo apunta que su próxima aventura será de "horror cósmico".

Este arco argumental cierra por todo lo alto con diálogos hechos para geeks con mucho respeto y humor.

Arte

Kewer logra destacar la sensualidad de Elvira en cada uno de sus paneles, así como su picardía y de la misma manera recrea con una exactitud hipnotizante. Las secuencias de esta entrega son épicas batallas que hacen tributo a Crisis of Infinite Earths y Secret Invasion.

Resumen
Elvira va a necesitar toda la super ayuda posible para poder detener este ejército monstruoso así tenga que romper la cuarta pared la veces que sea necesario

Elvira, the late night host of horror films in the 1980s and 1990s incarnated Cassandra Peterson, returns with her adventures in a comic book format. Elvira is a voluptuous and funny woman who loves the horror genre and the gothic look, her film Elvira Mistress of the Dark of the year 1988 is of cult movie. Its main characteristic it's her acute sense of humor / self-conscious and that frequently breaks the fourth wall. This comic highlight all these qualities.

Where it comes from?

IT'S VLAD VS. ELVIRA - AND THE FATE OF THE WORLD IS AT STAKE! Vlad the Impaler has plundered the Multiverse of Movies to build his monster army, and now he's ready to invade! Can the Mistress of the Dark stop him before he conquers reality itself? It's the final issue, so this is Elvira's last chance! Tune in for this pulse-pounding, senses-shattering, all-action ish, courtesy of writer DAVID AVALLONE (Elvira in Horrorland, Bettie Page: Unbound) and artist KEWBER BAAL (Red Rising, Vampirella)!

Plot

The final moment arrives, Elvira faces alone with Saliva and Vlad's entire army of monsters, at this moment the writer decides to intervene with some flashbacks...but Elvira almost avoids it, the first pages of this comic are self-aware and hilarious, David Avallone's cameo is epic.

Elvira manages to receive important help, because what movie franchise is better than that of monsters...the one of superheroes, here they welcome all the heroes that we know with crazy different names but that are easily identified, the dialogues are great and with hilarious and perfect Marvel and DC references.

Elvira manages to free herself from her two greatest nemeses and from Fellini's dangerous control, but everything indicates that her next adventure will be one of "cosmic horror."

This story arc closes in style with dialogues made for geeks with a lot of respect and humor.

Art

Kewer manages to highlight Elvira's sensuality in each of her panels, as well as her mischief, and in the same way recreates it with hypnotizing accuracy. The sequences in this installment are epic battles that pay tribute to Crisis of Infinite Earths and Secret Invasion.

Summary

Elvira is going to need all the super help possible to stop this monstrous army even if she has to break the fourth wall as many times as necessary.
