Marvel Comics y la querida caricatura de Disney de los 90, Gárgolas, se cruzarán por primera vez este octubre en FANTASTIC FOUR/GARGOYLES #1, un nuevo one-shot del creador de Gárgolas, Greg Weisman, y la artista Enid Balám.
Aclamada por la crítica por su rica mitología y sus complejos personajes, la querida serie de televisión siguió a un grupo de antiguas Gárgolas que despertaron en la moderna ciudad de Nueva York y se convirtieron en defensoras de la noche. Las aventuras del personaje continúan hoy en una nueva serie de cómics publicada por Dynamite Entertainment. Dynamite Entertainment producirá su propio one-shot de Gárgolas/Los Cuatro Fantásticos, también a la venta en octubre y ambientado en la misma continuidad que el próximo one-shot de Marvel. En ambas sagas, los fans verán a la legendaria familia de superhéroes de Marvel unirse con Goliat, Elisa Maza, Brooklyn y toda la pandilla contra villanos de los respectivos universos de ambos equipos.

SINOPSIS
¡LA PRIMERA FAMILIA DE MARVEL SE UNE AL CLAN DE MANHATTAN!
El peligro acecha cuando el supervillano Diablo descubre que las gárgolas de piedra podrían albergar el secreto de la vida eterna... ¡pero las Gárgolas no van a permitir que se apodere de su propia sangre! Por suerte, cuentan con la ayuda de los expertos en desmitificar a Diablo: ¡los Cuatro Fantásticos! Además: Tony Stark y David Xanatos comparan su vello facial, la propia Gárgola de Marvel, Isaac Christians, se conecta con su nueva familia, ¡y mucho más!

Sobre traer a las Gárgolas al Edificio Baxter, Weisman comentó: «Es perfecto que la Primera Familia del Universo Marvel interactúe con la Primera Familia del Universo de las Gárgolas, es decir, el Clan de Manhattan. Estos dos grupos de héroes, ambos operando desde Midtown Manhattan —uno desde el Edificio Baxter y otro desde el Edificio Eyrie—, tienen muchísimo en común. Y, seamos sinceros, en todos los sentidos, los Cuatro Fantásticos de Stan y Jack fueron una clara influencia en la creación de las Gárgolas a principios de los 90. Trabajar en este proyecto realmente despertó mi alegría infantil. ¡MUY DIVERTIDO!».

FANTASTIC FOUR/GARGOYLES #1, a new one-shot from Gargoyles creator Greg Weisman and artist Enid Balám, arrives in October.
New York, NY— July 16, 2025 — Marvel Comics and the beloved ‘90s Disney cartoon Gargoyles will crossover for the first time this October in FANTASTIC FOUR/GARGOYLES #1, an all-new one-shot by Gargoyles creator Greg Weisman and artist Enid Balám!
Critically acclaimed for its rich mythology and complex characters, the beloved television series followed a group of ancient Gargoyles who reawakened in modern New York City and became defenders of the night! The character’s adventures continue today in new comic series published by Dynamite Entertainment. Dynamite Entertainment will produce their own Gargoyles/Fantastic Four one-shot, also on sale in October and set in the same continuity as Marvel’s upcoming one-shot. Across both sagas, fans will see Marvel’s legendary super hero family team up with Goliath, Elisa Maza, Brooklyn, and the whole gang against villains from both team’s respective universes.

On bringing the Gargoyles to the Baxter Building, Weisman said, “It just feels perfect to have the First Family of the Marvel Universe interacting with the First Family of the Gargoyles Universe, i.e. the Manhattan Clan. These two sets of heroes, both operating out of Midtown Manhattan - one from the Baxter Building and one from the Eyrie Building - just have so much in common. And, let's face it, in ways big and small, Stan & Jack's Fantastic Four was a clear influence on the creation of Gargoyles back in the early ‘90s. Getting to work on this project really brought out the gleeful kid in me. SO MUCH FUN!”
