Dark Horse Comics y Absurd Ventures presentan American Caper, una nueva serie de cómics de ficción criminal creada y escrita por Dan Houser, cofundador de Rockstar Games y veterano guionista y director creativo de las series Grand Theft Auto y Red Dead Redemption. 

American Caper cuenta con una amplia selección de talentos de la novela negra y el cómic, incluyendo a su compañero veterano de Grand Theft Auto, Lazlow, quien produce y contribuye con guiones adicionales.

SINOPSIS

American Caper narra la historia de dos familias completamente normales y completamente destrozadas en un mundo de negocios corruptos, política inepta, crimen chapucero, justicia santurrona y ropa informal problemática. Seguimos la suerte de dos vecinos al borde del colapso: un sicario mormón y un abogado ludópata, ambos involucrados en un negocio inmobiliario que salió mal. A la mezcla se suman una reina de belleza mexicana que huye de su pasado, dos convictos fugados y enamorados, un multimillonario de Wall Street convertido en vaquero y una venganza maniaca.

Desde los evasores de impuestos en la cuidada naturaleza de Wyoming, hasta la policía del pensamiento de Brooklyn y los confusos campos de batalla políticos de Florida, una cosa es segura: esta tragedia es culpa de otros.
