Ayer se revelaron nuevas y emocionantes actualizaciones para Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge en Disneyland. A partir del 29 de abril, el área temática de Star Wars ampliará su línea temporal narrativa para incorporar elementos de la trilogía cinematográfica original, incluyendo personajes como Darth Vader y Luke Skywalker, así como nueva oferta gastronómica y de productos. Marvel Comics revelará la historia oficial del encuentro entre el Imperio y los Rebeldes en Batuu en STAR WARS: GALAXY’S EDGE - ECHOES OF THE EMPIRE, una serie de cómics derivada que se lanzará en abril. La saga de cinco números estará escrita por Ethan Sacks, quien escribió la serie de cómics derivada de Galaxy’s Edge cuando la tierra se inauguró en 2019, y dibujada por los artistas Jethro Morales y Roi Mercado.

Luke Skywalker, la Princesa Leia y Chewbacca se dirigen a Batuu en busca de información importante y se topan con una peligrosa reliquia, ¡una que los pone en camino a una colisión con el Imperio!

"Regresamos a Batuu y traemos con nosotros a las estrellas más grandes de la galaxia de Star Wars", dijo Sacks. Una nueva era importante está amaneciendo en Galaxy’s Edge y considera ECHOES OF THE EMPIRE como un holocrón que revela la historia secreta tras esa experiencia. Será épico y los maestros Jedi (de dibujo) Roi Mercado y Jethro se asegurarán de que cada página luzca increíble.

STAR WARS: GALAXY’S EDGE - ECHOES OF THE EMPIRE by Ethan Sacks, Jethro Morales and Roi Mercado, a new comic saga taking place on Batuu, the setting of Disney Parks’ Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, arrives in April.

 

New York, NY— January 15, 2026 — Your next visit to Black Spire Outpost may feel different.

 

Revealed yesterday, exciting new updates are coming to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland. Beginning on April 29, the Star Wars-themed land will expand its storytelling timeline to incorporate elements of the original film trilogy including characters like Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker as well as new food and merchandise offerings. Marvel Comics will reveal the official story of the Empire and Rebels’ encounter on Batuu in STAR WARS: GALAXY’S EDGE - ECHOES OF THE EMPIRE, a tie-in comic series launching in April. The five-issue saga will be written by Ethan Sacks, who penned the Galaxy’s Edge tie-in comic series back when the land first opened in 2019, and drawn by artists Jethro Morales and Roi Mercado.

 

NEW SECRETS OF GALAXY’S EDGE REVEALED!

Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia and Chewbacca head to Batuu in search of important intel and stumble upon a dangerous relic – one that puts them on a collision course with the Empire!

 

“We’re returning to Batuu and we're bringing the biggest stars in the Star Wars galaxy with us,” Sacks said. “A major new era is dawning at Galaxy’s Edge and consider ECHOES OF THE EMPIRE a Holocron that reveals the secret story behind that experience. It's going to be epic and Jedi (drawing) Masters Roi Mercado and Jethro are making sure every page looks amazing.”
