Trama
La historia comienza en 1933 con una tragedia entre Daniel Upton y Edward Derby, para luego trasladarse a 1899, año donde Daniel y Edward son adolescentes y se conocen por primera vez.
A medida que pasan los años muestran como Daniel prospera en su empleo y comienza una familia, mientras Edward que viene de una familia pudiente se obsesiona con libros prohibidos de la misteriosa Institución Educativa MISKATONIC en Arkham Massachusetts, cuya investigación siempre se interrumpió por sus viajes anuales a Europa.
Al pasar de los años esta amistad se nutre con lealtad y empatía.
En 1924 Edward desaparece por años y regresa en 1928 a la biblioteca de Miskatonic y descubrir que la bibliotecaria le ocurrió algo perturbador y misterioso.
Hay una cierta similitud física y de personalidad entre el personaje de Edward y el verdadero Howard Phillips Lovecraft muy interesante y cautivante.
Interesante de suspenso que contrasta con la atmósfera llena de esperanza a pesar de toda la situación del mundo en la en el primer tercio de siglo, donde hay pistas de que algo macabro está por ocurrir.

Es muy detallado, captura las expresiones faciales con cierto grado de hiperrealismo que captura la atmósfera lúgubre de Lovecraft

The story begins in 1933 with a tragedy involving Daniel Upton and Edward Derby, before flashing back to 1899, the year Daniel and Edward first met as teenagers.
As the years pass, Daniel prospers in his career and starts a family, while Edward, from a wealthy family, becomes obsessed with forbidden books at the mysterious Miskatonic Educational Institution in Arkham, Massachusetts, an investigation always interrupted by his annual trips to Europe.
Over the years, their friendship is nurtured by loyalty and empathy.
In 1924, Edward disappears for several years, returning in 1928 to the Miskatonic library to discover that something disturbing and mysterious has happened to the librarian.
There is a certain physical and personality resemblance between the character of Edward and the real Howard Phillips Lovecraft, which is both interesting and captivating.
An intriguing thriller that contrasts with the hopeful atmosphere, despite the world's state in the first third of the century, where there are hints that something macabre is about to happen.
Art
It's very detailed, capturing facial expressions with a degree of hyperrealism that perfectly captures Lovecraft's gloomy atmosphere.
