REVIEW IN ENGLISH
with Spoilers

Where does it comes from?
Nick and Denny found the facility that was leaking neural slices to the black market, but with the employee responsible dead on arrival, they may need to dig deeper to find a new lead. Meanwhile, indie journalist Blake Wohl blackmails Dr. Hernando Montoya with an ultimatum: Either give Blake exclusive rights to livestream the birth of the Synthetics or spend what time remains on this Earth in prison.

• A new apocalyptic sci-fi epic from J. Michael Straczynski (The Amazing Spider-Man, Babylon 5)!

• Featuring art by the talented Tony Parker (Medusa)!

• Four-issue series.

Plot
The story takes place in the future and is told through three interconnected subplots, filled with mysteries, conspiracy theories, and crime investigations:

The first subplot shows Hernando Montoya and the billionaire Yuri of the Vita Nova corporation activating a synthetic human for the first time. They begin with Hannah, witnessing the birth of the first synthetic human. Leaving Alexander for later, they planned to do the same with reporter Blake Wohl, but it's deemed too dangerous.

The second subplot shows Nick and Denny confiscating thousands of illegal brain cells used to create memories and sell them in the Void.

The third subplot shows how Detective Nick connects to the Void, a digital world filled with memories so vivid they allow users to relive experiences they can't have in the real world, which is soon to end. Nick connects because he wants to retrieve a part of his father's psyche, a father who died addicted to these memories.

This comic boasts a compelling premise with powerful narrative depth, its solid foundations resting on science fiction, dystopian futures, and social, psychological, and medical technology.

Art
With a high level of detail, the facial expressions and anatomy are mesmerizing, achieving sequences that blend science fiction with suspense, noir touches, and a superbly chosen color palette.

Summary
Nick and Denny manage to confiscate an illegal brain cell facility, while the first synthetic person is born in secret.
