Sinopsis
En un mundo consumido por las sombras... un hombre se convierte en La Oscuridad. ¡Jackie Estacado ha vuelto! Trama
El cómic comienza con la concepción perversa donde un ser se desvanece y pudre de manera macabra, para luego saltar uno años en el futuro en un orfanato donde el niño Jackie Estacado es constantemente acosado por otros bravucones y cuando se defiende, es "vendido" a un mafioso llamado Frankie.
Frankie cría a Jackie como su mano derecha y sicario de su mafia criminal. Jackie es letal pero cuando Frankie se mete con la mafia Rusa, todo se desmorona.
Jackie está marcado por una maldición, fue concebido por una persona que sirve de conducto de una fuerza que proviene de una dimensión oscura.
Jackie descubre que está en el medio de una guerra entre fuerzas de la oscuridad y de la luz, representadas por Sonatine y Angelus respectivamente.
Este poder que adquirió Jackie está acompañado del control de engendros y seres que son un ejército oscuro y para vengar a su Tío Frankie, Jackie se prepara par asuer sus nuevo poderes.

The comic begins with a perverse vision of a being fading away and rotting away in a macabre fashion, then jumps forward a few years to an orphanage where a young boy named Jackie Estacado is constantly bullied. When he fights back, he is "sold" to a mobster named Frankie.
Frankie raises Jackie as his right-hand man and enforcer for his criminal organization. Jackie is lethal, but when Frankie crosses the Russian mafia, everything falls apart.
Jackie is marked by a curse; he was conceived by a person who serves as a conduit for a force from a dark dimension.
Jackie discovers he is caught in the middle of a war between forces of darkness and light, represented by Sonatine and Angelus, respectively.
This power Jackie has acquired comes with control over creatures and beings that form a dark army. To avenge his Uncle Frankie, Jackie prepares to wield his newfound abilities.
An exciting reboot of this legendary comic book character who revolutionized the industry in the 1990s with the wave of independent comics spearheaded by Image Comics, where Jackie's story is refreshed and updated.
Art
It's highly detailed, organic, and textured, paying homage to the original saga illustrated by Marc Silvestri, but at the same time offering a unique style that plays with shadows and body language.
