¿De Qué viene?
Carmen Red Claw, pistolera a sueldo sobrenatural y descendiente del infame El Bogavante, se enfrenta a un nuevo tipo de monstruo al investigar un rancho supuestamente maldito. Algo está matando al ganado de la zona, pero Carmen debe averiguar si la culpa es de una bestia o si los verdaderos monstruos son los humanos.
La escritora y artista Rae Allen (The Manderfield Devil, Town with a Million Eyes) se une al universo de Hellboy en esta aventura paranormal del oeste ambientada en el Nuevo México de la década de 1870.

Trama
Carmen Daschier/Red Claw es una especie de cazarrecompensas de demonios y seres sobrenaturales cuando es contratada para investigar la masacre del ganado de una hacienda que es atacado por un animal sobrenatural. Alguien de su pasado le advierte lo que ocurre...su hermano Sebastian...
El cómic muestra la tragedia que Carmen vivió de niña que cambió su vida de una manera dolorosa y brutal. Carmen es la terrateniente del rancho Red Claw, a ella no le hace falta el dinero que gana al eliminar a demonios. En este rancho unas personas desconocidas le advierten que todo su terreno está maldecido.
Carmen la acompaña una lagartija parlanchina y pesada llamada Yargoss y se autodenomina el Rey de los Lagartos.
Esta historia se ambienta en 1867, por lo que mezcla spaghetti western con misterios sobrenatural e un perfecto balance.
Arte
Es un arte con una influencia inocente, pero con trazos fuertes, que logra excelentes momentos de terror y presenta con genialidad este ambiente de Western. Las delineaciones faciales cambian con la edad de los personajes, lo cual otorga una idea de las edades y de lo que han vivido.
Resumen
Carmen se enfrenta a un misterio que le va a remover traumas de su pasado. Western con terror sobrenatural en una excelente historia de introducción de esta nueva heroína

What does it come from?
Supernatural gun-for-hire and shape-shifting descendent of the notorious El Bogavante, Carmen Red Claw faces a new type of monster when investigating supposedly cursed ranch land. Something is killing the cattle in the area, but Carmen has to find out if it’s really a beast to blame, or if humans are the real monsters here.

Plot
Carmen Daschier/Red Claw is a sort of bounty hunter of demons and supernatural beings when she's hired to investigate the massacre of cattle on a ranch attacked by a supernatural animal. Someone from her past warns her about what's happening... her brother Sebastian...
The comic shows the tragedy Carmen experienced as a child, which changed her life in a painful and brutal way. Carmen is the owner of the Red Claw Ranch, and she doesn't need the money she earns by eliminating demons. On this ranch, some unknown people warn her that all her land is cursed.
Carmen is accompanied by a talkative and annoying lizard named Yargoss and calls herself the King of the Lizards.
This story is set in 1867, so it blends spaghetti western with supernatural mysteries in a perfect balance.
Art
It's naive yet bold, achieving excellent moments of terror and brilliantly presenting the Western atmosphere. The characters' facial features change with age, giving a sense of their ages and experiences.
Summary
Carmen faces a mystery that will dredge up traumas from her past. A Western with supernatural horror in an excellent introductory story for this new heroine.
