El legendario creador de Hellboy, Mike Mignola, se reúne con Chris Roberson y Mike Norton para una nueva serie de misterio sobrenatural: B.P.R.D.: Declassified

 

El legendario autor de cómics Mike Mignola vuelve a colaborar con Chris Roberson (*iZombie*) —su colaborador habitual— y con Mike Norton (*Battlepug*) —artista de *Hellboy and the B.P.R.D.: From Below*— en una nueva serie de cinco números titulada *B.P.R.D.: Declassified*. Esta nueva entrega llevará a los agentes de la Oficina de Investigación y Defensa Paranormal (B.P.R.D., por sus siglas en inglés) —Susan Xiang y Victor Koestler, dos de los favoritos de los lectores— a una misión ultrasecreta en Honolulu, Hawái. 

Con guion de Mignola y Roberson, arte de Norton y color de Dave Stewart, el primer número de *B.P.R.D.: Declassified* contará con una portada principal de Norton y una portada alternativa de Gabriel Hardman (*Green Lantern: Earth One*). ¡Los siguientes números incluirán portadas alternativas de artistas como Christopher Mitten (*The Foundry*), Craig Rousseau (*Young Hellboy*), Michael Avon Oeming (*Powers*) y otros más!

La última vez que los lectores vieron a la agente psíquica de la B.P.R.D... La agente Susan Xiang apareció en *The Shadow of the Golden Crane* (2025), de Chris Roberson y Michael Avon Oeming, obra en la que investigó la conexión de su familia con la misteriosa Sociedad de la Grulla Dorada. Ahora, forma equipo con Victor Koestler —un agente de la B.P.R.D. con la capacidad de realizar proyecciones astrales— para investigar la desaparición de una persona en circunstancias de otro mundo.

Henry Rouch se encontraba en el extranjero trabajando en un proyecto gubernamental clasificado antes de desaparecer misteriosamente. Debido a las circunstancias sobrenaturales que rodean su desaparición, la B.P.R.D. ha intervenido en la investigación; sin embargo, los agentes pronto descubren que el caso es mucho más complejo de lo que parece a simple vista.

MILWAUKIE, Ore., (October 22, 2026)—Comics Legend Mike Mignola is reuniting with longtime collaborator Chris Roberson (iZombie) and Hellboy and the B.P.R.D.: From Below artist Mike Norton (Battlepug) for an all-new five-issue series, B.P.R.D.: Declassified. The new series will send fan-favorite Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense agents Susan Xiang and Victor Koestler on a top-secret mission to Honolulu, Hawaii. Written by Mignola and Roberson with art by Norton, and colors by Dave Stewart, B.P.R.D.: Declassified #1 will feature a main cover by Norton and a variant cover by Gabriel Hardman (Green Lantern: Earth One). The stakes are higher than Susan Xiang and company ever suspected." Fans last saw the psychic B.P.R.D. agent Susan Xiang in 2025’s The Shadow of the Golden Crane by Chris Roberson and Michael Avon Oeming, where she investigated her family’s connection to the mysterious Golden Crane Society. Now, she’s teaming up with astral projecting B.P.R.D agent Victor Koestler for an otherworldly missing person investigation. Henry Rouch was overseas working on a classified government project before he mysteriously vanished. The supernatural circumstances surrounding his disappearance means the B.P.R.D. has been called in to investigate, but the agents soon discover that there’s much more to this case than meets the eye. “The best thing about working on a B.P.R.D. story (and Chris’s stories in particular) is that I know there’s going to be something I never even THOUGHT of drawing before,” adds Mike Norton. “And let me tell you, this one does NOT disappoint!"  B.P.R.D.: Declassified #1 is due out on February 17, 2027.
