Ambientado en los años posteriores a una guerra nuclear que devastó el planeta, los forajidos desesperados luchan por sobrevivir en un mundo. del caos radiactivo. Más allá del páramo envenenado vive un hombre al que incluso los Nightcrawlers y Organ People temen. Algunos lo llaman Joe Glow, otros lo llaman Meltdown Man. Pero su nombre ... es Geiger.
Trama
La historia intenta explicar cómo Geiger (Tariq Geiger) se salva del ataque nuclear, al parecer su cáncer terminal lo protegió o su deseo por salvar a su familia lo mantiene vivo, sin embargo esta historia aun esta por ser explicada más adelante.
El cómic se mueve a contar cómo está distribuida la sociedad en este futuro distópico, Las Vegas sigue existiendo como una burbuja aislada donde el Rey controla su reino como un casino llamado Camelot y narra la manera en que venció a Geiger...pero de esa historia aún queda mucho por contar.
La mesera Carolina vive preocupada porque su hija Hailee ya casi cumple 16 y teme porque el rey la reclute como empleada de sus gustos grotescos, al igual que su hijo menor Henry, por lo que se roba el "Nuclear Football" un dispositivo que el Rey busca por años, sin embargo el guardaespaldas Hazz la asesina antes de poder escapar, pero Henry y Hailee escapan al exterior radiactivo con el Nuclear Football pero no saben cómo luchar contra insectos gigantes, hasta que Geiger los ayuda. Ellos van a NORAD el último vestigio de civilización.
La secuencia de los insectos gigantes vs Geiger es magnífica.
Finalmente se conoce el resentimiento que tiene el Rey contra geiger y que va a hacer lo posible para vengarse, hasta alianzas con su competencia.
La historia sigue mostrando nuevas subtramas que la enriquecen, en especial con revelaciones interesantes. Geoff Johns sabe como capturar la atención del lector con este mundo donde la demencia de sus regentes son plasmadas en fantasías mitológicas.
Arte
Gary Frank es un genio artístico, cada panel, cada página es hipnotizante, desde las expresiones faciales hasta los ángulos, este cómic es una obra de culto instantánea.
Resumen
Geiger representa la esperanza de un mundo controlado por la tiranía. Este cómic está lleno de revelaciones impactantes secuencias, es de lectura obligada.

Plot
The story tries to explain how Geiger (Tariq Geiger) is saved from the nuclear attack, apparently his terminal cancer protected him or his desire to save his family keeps him alive, however this story is yet to be explained later.
The comic moves to tell how society is distributed in this dystopian future, Las Vegas continues to exist as an isolated bubble where the King controls his kingdom as a casino called Camelot and narrates the way in which he beat Geiger ... but in that history there is still much to tell.
The waitress Carolina lives worried because her daughter Hailee is almost 16 and fears that the king will recruit her as an employee of his grotesque tastes, like her youngest son Henry, so she steals the "Nuclear Football" a device that the King She searches for years, however the bodyguard Hazz kills her before she can escape, but Henry and Hailee escape to the radioactive outside with Nuclear Football but they do not know how to fight against giant insects, until Geiger helps them.They go to NORAD the last vestige of civilization.
The giant insects vs Geiger sequence is magnificent.
Finally it is known the resentment that the King has against geiger and that he will do everything possible to take revenge, even alliances with his competition.
The story continues to show new subplots that enrich it, especially with interesting revelations. Geoff Johns knows how to capture the reader's attention with this world where the insanity of the rulers are embodied in mythological fantasies.
Art
Gary Frank is an artistic genius, every panel, every page is mesmerizing, from the facial expressions to the angles, this comic is an instant cult piece.
Resume
Geiger represents the hope of a world controlled by tyranny. This comic is full of shocking sequence revelations, it's a must-read.
