Sinopsis:
Comenzó con una llamada desde una isla en 1929, un hombre desesperado que recibía mensajes en sueños para ir a salvar a Estados Unidos. Termina con sus hijos y nietos descubriendo que los superpoderes que recibió en ese extraño lugar en medio del océano fueron planeados para la ruina de la humanidad. Nunca ha habido una historia de superhéroes como esta, una epopeya que abarca desde el origen de la humanidad hasta el fin de la humanidad y todo lo demás. Este volumen es la impresionante conclusión de una historia que se desarrolló durante doce años, una importante serie de Netflix y un logro supremo para los creadores involucrados.
Trama
Este cómic comienza justamente segundos después de lo ocurrido Jupiter's Legacy Volumen 5 Requiem, donde nuestro planeta está por ser invadido por la Reina Borilea y el Príncipe Caius del planeta Parolax, cuyos héroes recibieron los superpoderes de la misma forma y por la misma raza extraterrestre que los de nuestro planeta.
La última esperanza para nuestro mundo recae en Jason, Lady Liberty y Sophie.
La relación entre todos estos planetas y los superhéroes recae en la explicación más alucinante de este cómic, que finalmente revela el misterio tras la palabra Júpiter.
En realidad todos estos planetas forman parte de una granja de unos seres superiores, que llevan años criándonos como ganado, para cuando lleguemos a los 10 Millardos de habitantes, nos devoran y terra-forman el planeta para comenzar de nuevo. Por eso las historias bíblicas de una inundación mundial que reinicia todo es realidad estos seres terraformando una nueva generación de cultivo de ganado. El proceso de consumir humanos comienza con una nube de nanopartículas y la más reciente batalla en nuestro planeta fue contra Zeus o también llamado Júpiter, que perdió y su cabeza la tiene como trofeo. Jason, Lady Liberty y Sophie son el LEGADO DE JÚPITER.
Estos "Granjeros" cósmicos crearon a los superhéroes de cada planeta para que protejan su ganado de invasiones, pestes y de guerras internas que los destruya a todos. Los humanos terminan siendo el cultivo más eficiente y de poco mantenimiento del universo.
Según este ser, el sistema biológico tiene dos directrices, fornicar y criar nuevos seres, por eso hay una obsesión en cuidar a nuestros hijos, porque es una obligación biológica para hacernos aumentar y aumentar de población. En pocas palabras, toda nuestra existencia es una mentira.
Walter Sampson supo esto por mucho tiempo, pero se escondió en sus ilusiones mentales. Todos los volúmenes de esta saga nos llevan a este momento impactante.
Jason está abrumado por lo que se acaba de enterar, que lleva años sospechando con los mensajes en Júpiter, pero su madre, Lady Liberty lo convence que la vida es algo más y que merece ser defendida, que el amor fraterno y hacia los hijos son una variable fuera de esta ecuación biológica por la que vale la pena luchar.
Millar revela finalmente el plan macabro de los seres extraterrestres que les otorgaron poderes, esta revelación es impactante y alucinante, sin duda cierra de manera perfecta esta poderosa saga.

Arte
Este volumen incluye el arte de tres dibujantes diferentes, cada uno aporta una visión diferente, algo que no es común porque pierde la consistencia narrativa, sin embargo logran una simbiosis artística interesante, como se analiza a continuación:
Tommy Lee Edwards presenta su arte lleno de texturas y orgánico que brinda una sensación de dinamismo y misterio, con detalles magníficos que muestran mundos aparentemente utópicos/esperanzadores y al mismo tiempo plagados de terror y violencia. Logra una página splash doble que de gran escala. Su arte eleva la sensación épica a niveles bíblicos.
Matthew Dow Smith posee una técnica similar a Tommy Lee Edwards, llena de texturas que ofrecen cierto dinamismo. Es un cambio sutil del tono que ha tenido esta serie desde Requiem, es cuestión de acostumbrarse.
Lee Carter ofrece unas ilustraciones bastante detalladas ayudados de una una iluminación, ofreciendo ese tono de cómics de superhéroes clásico de la década de 1960, es un arte magnífico.

Synopsis

Plot
This comic begins just seconds after the events of Jupiter's Legacy Volume 5 Requiem, where our planet is about to be invaded by Queen Borilea and Prince Caius of the planet Parolax, whose heroes received superpowers in the same way and by the same alien race as those on our planet.
The last hope for our world rests with Jason, Lady Liberty, and Sophie.
The relationship between all these planets and superheroes lies in the most mind-blowing explanation of this comic, which finally reveals the mystery behind the word Jupiter.
In reality, all these planets are part of a farm run by superior beings, who have been raising us like livestock for years. When we reach 10 billion inhabitants, they will devour us and terraform the planet to start over. That's why the biblical stories of a worldwide flood that resets everything are actually these beings terraforming a new generation of livestock farming. The process of consuming humans begins with a cloud of nanoparticles, and the most recent battle on our planet was against Zeus, also known as Jupiter, who lost and whose head he holds as a trophy. Jason, Lady Liberty, and Sophie are JUPITER'S LEGACY.
These cosmic "Farmers" created superheroes on each planet to protect their livestock from invasions, plagues, and internal wars that would destroy them all. Humans end up being the most efficient and low-maintenance crop in the universe.
According to this being, the biological system has two directives: fornicating and raising new beings. That's why there's an obsession with caring for our children, because it's a biological obligation to increase our population. In short, our entire existence is a lie.
Walter Sampson knew this for a long time, but hid in his mental illusions. All the volumes of this saga lead us to this shocking moment.
Jason is overwhelmed by what he's just learned, something he's suspected for years regarding the messages on Jupiter. However, his mother, Lady Liberty, convinces him that life is more than just a mystery, and that it deserves to be defended. That brotherly love and love for children are a variable outside of this biological equation, worth fighting for.
Millar finally reveals the macabre plan of the extraterrestrial beings who granted them powers. This revelation is shocking and mind-blowing, and it undoubtedly brings this powerful saga to a perfect close.

Art
This volume includes art from three different artists, each bringing a distinct perspective, something unusual because it loses narrative consistency. However, they achieve an interesting artistic symbiosis, as analyzed below:
Tommy Lee Edwards presents his textured, organic art that provides a sense of dynamism and mystery, with magnificent details that depict seemingly utopian/hopeful worlds, yet plagued by terror and violence. He achieves a large-scale double-page splash. His art elevates the epic feel to biblical levels.
Matthew Dow Smith's technique is similar to Tommy Lee Edwards, full of textures that offer a certain dynamism. It's a subtle change from the tone this series has had since Requiem; it takes some getting used to.
Lee Carter offers highly detailed illustrations aided by lighting, giving that classic 1960s superhero comic book feel. It's magnificent art.
