¿De qué viene?

Trama

Plot 

Alex leads his first mission with pilots Igu, Tyborus, Breeta, Hanu, and Xyla, but the battle results in the loss of Tyborus. Alex is unprepared to handle this initial failure as a team, especially given that the pilots do not get along with one another.

Louis, Alex’s younger brother, calls him from Nevada, USA, because a mysterious man is inquiring about the existence of extraterrestrials. Alex and Maggie go to investigate and reunite with his family; the trip allows Alex to take a breather back home.

Maggie confesses to her grandmother that she is worried about Centaury’s behavior, which appears to show signs of post-traumatic stress.

This installment introduces the villain Lady Naxos, whose obsession is directed at Maggie—the person responsible for her son's death.

This issue dials back the action to offer moments of introspection that are key to character development.

Willi Roberts es un dibujante de cómics radicado en Mar Del Plata, Argentina, que comenzó a trabajar en cómics como dibujante, entintador, colorista y diseñador gráfico en 2010, dibujando para editoriales de EE. UU., Australia, Italia y el Reino Unido. Sus títulos incluyen The Dark, Clodagh, The Blood Below y el cómic independiente Remothered.

Actualmente terminó la adaptación de HP Lovecraft THE THING ON THE DOORSTEP con Top Cow Comics, actualmente está trabajando en la secuela de THE LAST STAR FIGHTER con MAD CAVE STUDIOS y tiene un proyecto por salir en formato de crowdfunding con Backerkit cuyo co*-creador es el legendario actor DANNY MACHETE TREJO llamado Year of the Devil

Trama

Este cómic continua justamente donde termina la película de culto de ciencia ficción de la década de 1980, donde Alex Rogan fue seleccionado como piloto de la Star League luego de lograr la máxima puntuación en un juego de video arcade creado por el genio misterioso Century, esta prueba se llama Excalibur Test. 

Alex se convierte en el último y único piloto espacial que forma parte de un ejército policial espacial que luchó contra Xur y su Armada de Ko-Dan en una batalla sin precedentes donde solo sobrevivió Alex y su copiloto extraterrestre Grig.

El paradero del terrible Xur es desconocido, pero el Planeta Rylos, donde reside la Starfight Legión necesita reconstruir su flota espacial y reclutar nuevos pilotos, por lo que designan a Alex como el responsable de lograr esto, pero no es un plan sencillo.

Plot 

This comic picks up right where the cult science fiction film of the 1980s left off, with Alex Rogan selected as a Star League pilot after achieving the highest score on an arcade video game created by the mysterious genius Century. This test is called the Excalibur Test.

Alex becomes the last and only space pilot to join a space police force that fought against Xur and his Ko-Dan Armada in an unprecedented battle where only Alex and his alien co-pilot, Grig, survived.

The whereabouts of the fearsome Xur are unknown, but the planet Rylos, home to the Starfight Legion, needs to rebuild its space fleet and recruit new pilots. Alex is tasked with this, but it's not a simple mission.

Alex has his girlfriend, Maggie, and the scientist Century search the galaxy for new pilots who can pass the Excalibur Test, but someone else is trying to stop them. We'll meet new pilots with very different personalities and interesting personal motivations.
