Trama

Elvira luego de resolver el caso con Vincent Price es enviada a un universo de bolsillo donde revive una serie de películas clásicas de terror en diferentes épocas del cine, comenzando por Psicosis de Alfred Hitchcock, El Resplandor de Stanley Kubrick, Alien de Ridley Scott, Pesadilla en  la Calle del Infierno (Freddy Krueger) de Wes Craven y la Mosca de David Cronenberg, claro está hacen referencia a estas películas pero no usan los mismos nombres, pero es evidente que hablan de ellas. 

Estas aventuras peligrosas que están poniendo en peligro la realidad por lo que aparece una agencia llamada la W.O.W encargada de controlar todas esas actividades que ponen en riesgo la realidad.

Elvira rompe la cuarta pared en cada pagina con chistes inteligentes y agudos, donde las referencias brillantes a la cultura pop les hara reir sin parar. 

Este volumen cierra con la promesa del regreso de Elvira pero ahora a Monsterland.

Arte

Silvia de nuevo atrapa el tono y detalles de cada una de las películas clásicas de terror que hacen referencia/tributo, es un deleite visual sus capacidades de adaptación, tanto de espacios como de los personajes, aparte de siempre resaltar la sensualidad y picardía de Elvira.

Resumen

Elvira pone a prueba sus conocimientos de películas de terror  para poder salvarse ya que las está viviendo en carne propia.

Excelente punto de partida de una serie inteligente llena de cultura pop

Join writer David Avallone (Elvira Meets Vincent Price, Bettie Page: Unbound) and artist Silvia Califano for a comic you shouldn't show to mother (she just goes a little mad sometimes). Collects Elvira in Horrorland #1-5, including a complete cover gallery.

Plot

After solving the case with Vincent Price, Elvira is sent to a pocket universe where she relives a series of classic horror films from different eras of cinema, starting with Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho, Stanley Kubrick's The Shining, Ridley Scott's Alien, Wes Craven's A Nightmare on Elm Street (Freddy Krueger), and David Cronenberg's The Fly. Of course, they reference these films, but don't use the same titles; however, it's clear they are alluding to them.

These dangerous adventures are threatening reality, leading to the emergence of an agency called the W.O.W., tasked with controlling all these activities that put reality at risk.

Elvira breaks the fourth wall on every page with clever and sharp jokes, and her brilliant pop culture references will have you laughing non-stop.

This volume closes with the promise of Elvira's return, but this time to Monsterland.

Art

Silvia once again captures the tone and details of each of the classic horror films she references/pays tribute to. Her adaptability, both in terms of spaces and characters, is a visual delight, and she always highlights Elvira's sensuality and mischievousness.

Summary

Elvira puts her knowledge of horror films to the test in order to survive, as she is experiencing them firsthand. An excellent starting point for a smart series brimming with pop culture.

Trama

Elvira se encuentra en el laboratorio de Mumble (es Bundle, película La Mosca) e intenta explicar lo que les va a pasar y como ella de otra dimensión conoce todo lo que va a ocurrir, claro está con una serie de juegos de palabras, referencias de estas película y de la cultura pop hilarantes, pero lo más importante es que en este caso no solo rompe la cuarta pared, la demuele con su carisma.

Elvira recupera el control y es atacada por quien está detrás de todo esto, pero salvada por quienes le han ayudado (el mejor es el personaje que recuerda a Owen Wilson), donde todos de alguna manera se sienten atraídos por sus encantos.

Hay un diálogo hilarante, cuando un enemigo dice no soportar tantos chistes y referencias, le duele la cabeza de tanta información...

Este capítulo cierra este volumen, con la promesa del regreso de Elvira pero ahora a Monsterland.

Arte

Silvia de nuevo atrapa el tono y detalles de la película La Mosca de finales de la década de 1980, es un deleite visual sus capacidades de adaptación, tanto de espacios como de los personajes, aparte de siempre resaltar la sensualidad y picardía de Elvira.

Resumen

Elvira finalmente toma el control dimensional, pero le va a costar unos cuantos chistes y romper varias paredes para poder escapar.

Plot

Elvira is in Mumble's laboratory (it's Bundle, The Fly movie from 1980) and tries to explain what is going to happen to them and since she knows everything that is going to happen from another dimension, of course with a series of puns, references of these movies and hilarious pop culture, but the most important thing is that in this case he doesn't just break the fourth wall, he demolishes it with his charisma.

Elvira regains control of her and is attacked by the one who is behind all this, but saved by those who have helped her (the best is the character reminiscent of Owen Wilson), where everyone is somehow attracted by her charm.

There is a hilarious dialogue, when an enemy says he can't stand so puns, his head hurts from so much information... 😂

This chapter closes this volume, with the promise of Elvira's return but now to Monsterland.

Art

Silvia again captures the tone and details of the movie The Fly from the late 1980s, her adaptation capabilities are a visual delight, both of spaces and of the characters, apart from always highlighting Elvira's sensuality and mischief .

Summary

Elvira finally takes control of the dimension, but it's going to take a few jokes and break several walls to escape

Trama

Elvira llega a la saga de películas slasher donde el villano ataca desde los sueños, solo que se llama en este caso Teddy Luger (para evitar controversias de copyrights), lo interesante es que ella se da un paseo por las peliculas mas emblematicas llegando a la que es autoconsciente.

Teddy pierde la paciencia porque Elvira se anticipa a todos sus ataques y hace una hilarante analogía con Home Alone, rompe la cuarta pared con sus comentarios tan agudos...definiéndose no como una pesadilla..sino como un sueño húmedo...😂

Elvira viene viviendo aventuras peligrosas que están poniendo en peligro la realidad como por ejemplo, viajes en el tiempo, viajes al infierno, resuelve misterios con fantasmas y lucha contra monstruos en egipto....(ok todas estas historias son de David Avallone, todas son magníficas y brillan por sí solas, por favor leanlas...un momento...estoy rompiendo la cuarta pared también!!) por lo que aparece una agencia llamada la W.O.W encargada de controlar todas esas actividades que ponen en riesgo la realidad...Elvira va intentar escapar hacia otro clásico del cine de terror...del género de ciencia ficción...cada vez se acerca más al siglo XXI.

Arte

Silvia logra el tono exacto de películas de la década de 1980, como arenosas, con texturas y logra una semejanza tan genial con los actores reales que es alucinante.

Resumen

Elvira está creando un caos de proporciones apocalípticas sin querer obviamente pero algo está ahora tras ella

Plot

Elvira comes to the saga of slasher movies where the villain attacks from dreams, only in this case he is called Teddy Luger (to avoid copyright controversies), the interesting thing is that she takes a walk through the most emblematic movies arriving at the which is self-aware. 

Teddy loses patience because Elvira anticipates all his attacks and makes a hilarious analogy with Home Alone, she breaks the fourth wall with her sharp comments...defining herself not as a nightmare...but as a wet dream...😂 

Elvira has been living dangerous adventures that are putting reality in danger, such as time travel, trips to hell, solving mysteries with ghosts and fighting monsters in Egypt.... (ok all these stories are by David Avallone, all they are magnificent and shine by themselves, please read them... wait a minute... I'm breaking the fourth wall too!!) ​​so an agency called the W.O.W appears in charge of controlling all those activities that put reality at risk. ..Elvira is going to try to escape to another classic of horror movies...of the science fiction genre...ever closer to the 21st century. 

Art 

Silvia achieves the exact tone of 1980s movies, like gritty, textured, and achieves such a great likeness to the real actors that it's mind-boggling.

Trama

Elvira sigue viajando en una red de dimensiones paralelas a través del control remoto donde la sigue llevando a importantes películas de terror, en esta entrega llega a Aliens.

Tanto esta entrega como las anteriores Elvira no se llaman los nombres de los personajes reales, por lo que estos nombres son algo semejantes y terminan siendo en sí una broma con juego de palabras.

Elvira rompe la cuarta pared con frases hilarantes y se burla constantemente del escritor David Avallone y hay muchas referencias a esta película. Con este cómic van a reír de principio a fin.

Arte

Para este cómic la calidad del arte es aun mejor que los anteriores, capta con mucha exactitud la estética, tono y elementos de sci fi del clásico de culto Aliens.

Resumen

Elvira sabe cómo termina cada una de las películas en las que llega sin embargo su vida corre peligro mientras ella no para de bromear

Plot

Elvira continues to travel in a network of parallel dimensions through the remote control where she continues to take her to important horror films, in this installment she arrives in Aliens.

As all the previous issues Elvira are not called the names of the real characters, so these names are similar and end up being a joke with word game.

Elvira breaks the fourth wall with hilarious phrases and constantly mocks the writer David Avallone and there are many references to this film. With this comic they will laugh from beginning to end.

Art

For this comic the quality of art is even better than the previous ones, it captures the aesthetics, tone and elements of SCI fi of the aliens cult classic.

Summary

Elvira knows how each of the movies ends in which she arrives, however, her life is in danger while she does not stop joining
