Elvira, la presentadora nocturna de filmes de terror las décadas de 1980 y 1990 encarnada Cassandra Peterson, regresa con aventuras en su formato de cómic. Elvira es una mujer voluptuosa y divertida que ama el género del terror y el look gótico, su película Elvira Mistress of the Dark del año 1988 es de culto. Su principal característica es su agudo sentido del humor/auto-consciente y que frecuentemente rompe la cuarta pared. En este cómic resaltan todas estas cualidades.

Trama
Elvira y H.P Lovecraft se entrevistan con Cthulhu, quien al final no le importa escapar de R'lyeh, ya está cansado de que los humanos se peleen por el Necronomicón, aunque H.P Lovecraft intenta convencer de que se lo de para abrir un portal para que Cthulhu gobierne la galaxia.
Cthulhu denomina a Elvira como la protectora del Necronomicon y le asigna a H.P Lovecraft una eternidad de limpiar el castillo de R'lyeh que siempre se llena de mucosidad y mugre.
Elvira regresa a su casa pero es asaltada por dos supuestos agentes del gobierno que en realidad son integrantes de la misteriosa Iglesia Sky Science, quienes le quitan el Necronomicon, ella los sigue y recupera el libro pero es trasladad al pasado...lugar donde la legendaria modelo Pinup Bettie Page es una agente secreta, la próxima aventura es un crossover entre estas dos poderosas féminas.
Interesante cierre donde dejan en descubierto la personalidad ambiciosa y pedante de H.P Lovecraft.
Arte
Kewer eleva la sensualidad y picardía de Elvira en cada uno de sus paneles y creando a la vez una atmósfera de misterio y terror impactantes usando con éxito el universo de seres de HP Lovecraft pero manteniendo la comedia irreverente de Elvira mediante el lenguaje corporal.
Resumen
Elvira vs HP Lovecraft, él no vio venir el golpe en la entrepierna.
Genial cierre de esta aventura.

Elvira is a voluptuous and funny woman who loves the horror genre and the gothic look, her film Elvira Mistress of the Dark of the year 1988 is of cult movie. Its main characteristic it's her acute sense of humor / self-conscious and that frequently breaks the fourth wall. This comic highlight all these qualities.

Where it comes from?

Plot
Elvira and H.P Lovecraft meet with Cthulhu, who in the end does not mind escaping from R'lyeh, he is already tired of humans fighting over the Necronomicon, although H.P Lovecraft tries to convince him to give it to him to open a portal so that Cthulhu rules the galaxy.
Cthulhu names Elvira the protector of the Necronomicon and assigns H.P Lovecraft an eternity of cleaning the castle of R'lyeh that is always filled with mucus and grime.
Elvira returns home but is assaulted by two supposed government agents who are actually members of the mysterious Sky Science Church, who take the Necronomicon from her. She follows them and recovers the book but is transported to the past... a place where the Legendary Pinup model Bettie Page is a secret agent, the next adventure is a crossover between these two powerful women.
Interesting closing where they reveal the ambitious and pedantic personality of H.P Lovecraft.
Art
Kewer elevates Elvira's sensuality and mischief in each of her panels and at the same time creates an atmosphere of shocking mystery and terror by successfully using HP Lovecraft's universe of beings but maintaining Elvira's irreverent comedy through body language.
Summary
Elvira vs HP Lovecraft, he didn't see the crotch punch coming.
Great ending to this adventure.
