Trama

Plot
This first volume shows how the Phantom protects the Bangalla Jungle in Africa, his home. This mission has been carried out by generations of the Phantom, who cares for all its inhabitants, flora and fauna.
But when he discovers that the fearsome Singh Brotherhood is smuggling and massacring the tribes, he intervenes to stop these criminals, while his girlfriend Diana helps him heal his wounds.
This volume has all the essential elements of the Phantom's stories: action, chases, criminal intrigue, and a powerful message about protecting our environment.
Artwork
With many shadows and silhouettes, the artwork achieves dynamic sequences with tones reminiscent of the early comics of this legendary character by Lee Falk. However, at times the textures lose their impact on the scene.
