Where does it come from?
This is the first issue of the series, so everything that happens is new, of course, the sure thing is that the Martians are about to attack.
What's going on?
When the son of Major Carbutt visits him in the elderly care house, both are unaware that the Martians are attacking the world, they have already destroyed New York and Washington, until they appear in their town.
The father/son relationship is hilarious because of the profound generational differences, with comedy-laden dialogues, since the son is a lazy man who can not keep a job while his is a Vietnam veteran very rigid in his convictions.
The comic shows in a hilarious way how people react with this extraterrestrial apocalypse, while Major Carbutt in his old age does not let himself be defeated. Meanwhile, the US government (with a fictitious president with moral problems) is preparing for the counterattack.
