Este cómic se dedica a humanizar al espía más famoso y eficiente de la historia, James Bond, ubicándolo en la segunda guerra mundial, la época en que su creador Ian Fleming se lo imaginó, este cómic es lo más fiel a la idea original.
¿De qué viene?
En James Bond Origin #8, Bond es atrapado por el capitán Vasily del barco Ruso Matriuska , quien fingió que recibió un ataque para quedarse con un oro robado, Bond conoce lo que sucede, sin embargo es neutralizado.
Rusia y Gran Bretaña son recién aliados en la guerra, por lo que descubrir este tipo de robos podría quebrantar esta unión, por eso Rusia envía a Oksana para disuadir a Bond.
El jefe de todos Yegor, sabe lo que sucede, sin embargo no está dispuesto a dejar que este secreto se revele.
Bond escapa en pleno ataque, esta secuencia de acción los dejará pegados a la lectura, mientras el malvado Yegor lo persigue sin cuartel.

Where does it come from?
In James Bond Origin #8, Bond is caught by the captain Vasily of the Russian ship Matriuska, who pretended that he received an attack to stay with a stolen gold, Bond knows what happens, nevertheless he is neutralized.
