¿De qué viene?
Esta entrega sirve de apoyo para el primer arco argumental de Red Sonja de Mark Russel y Mirko Colak para entender la situación que ocurre en el palacio de Dragan y sobre el consejero de Red Sonja.
El cómic cuenta lo que sucede 15 años antes hasta el momento en que Red Sonja roba todas las provisiones de su ejército, este cómic cuenta lo que pasa más allá de lo que hizo Sonja. Este cómic es clave para la historia contenida en Red Sonja del #1 al #6.
¿Qué sucede?
Dragan resulta ser un invasor que destruye todo a su paso sin estrategias solo por la fuerza bruta, su esposa era una princesa y con la fortuna de su reino es la que ha apoyado a Dragan en todas sus conquistas.
El oráculo del reino le dijo que Dragan tiene una maldición, que debe expandir sus imperio, en el momento que no lo haga morirá, claro está, está profecía hace que este dictador pase todo el tiempo fuera de su hogar. Qué le cae como anillo al dedo a la reina y al Oráculo.
Tiene un relato sobre el Rey de los Tontos y la mitología de esa era que es muy interesante. El arte de Bob Q y Katie O´Meara es magnífico.
Por otro lado está la historia explica quién es el consejero de Red Sonja, quien tiene mucha experiencia en tratar con personajes de poder.
Resumen
Este cómic posee dos relatos muy interesantes y bien estructurados que sirven para nutrir el primer volumen de Russel y Colak.
