Ghost Machine Productions lanza GEIGER en un nuevo volumen, del escritor Geoff Johns, el artista Gary Frank y el colorista Brad Anderson. Esta serie de comics tendrá frecuencia mensual y forma parte de la primera ola de cómics de Ghost Machine Productions. La serie sigue las aventuras de Tariq Geiger, el misterioso Hombre Resplandeciente presentado por primera vez en la exitosa serie GEIGER Vol 1 de Johns y Frank, que se lanzó en 2021 y fue publicada por Image Comics. GEIGER también se está desarrollando para televisión en Paramount TV con Justin Simien como director.
¿De qué viene?
¡Un epílogo impactante! Tras su devastador encuentro con el Electricista, Tariq Geiger debe afrontar las consecuencias letales, especialmente lo que sucedió con su lobo de dos cabezas, Barney. No querrás perderte este extraordinario documental sobre el mejor amigo de Geiger.
Trama
Geiger trata de alegrar a Barney haciendo un festín de comida, pero su fiel mascota no tiene apetito, Nate está preocupado.
En la noche cuando todos duermen Barney se va a pasear y llega al Zoológico High Plains, lugar donde unos cazadores eliminan a todos los animales que han mutado y solo se llevan vivos a los especímenes normales para las Vegas, a una boda.
Barney se encuentra con el gorila Manco, que tiene cuatro brazos, entre ellos se comunican, Manco explica la situación..
Barney presencia como estos cazadores asesinaron a una mamá cebra de tres ojos y pensaban hacerle lo mismo a su hijo, en ese momento Barney asesina a uno de los cazadores. El otro cazador electrocuta a Barney como lo hizo Electrician y este recuerda ese dolor, pero Manco llega con los otros animales y eliminan a todos los cazadores.
Barney regresa con Geiger y trae consigo a la cebra de tres ojos, Nate le encanta y la adopta como Zig Zag, a Geiger no le gusta la idea pero Barney también quiere compañía.
Esta entrega se centra por prinera vez en Barney y con muy cpocos dialogos narra una avnetura alecionadore sobre la crueldad animal.
Este cómic mejora con cada entrega y mantiene un ritmo narrativo cohesivo y adictivo, Geoff Johns resalta cómo la humanidad en esta crisis se vuelve cruel e indiferente del dolor ajeno, como se acercan a la barbarie sin darse cuenta.
Este cómic incluye un adelanto escalofriante del próximo cómic de Ghost Machine llamado Hyde Street, que inaugura el universo de terror de esta editorial. El equipo creativo de esta serie es Geoff Johns, Ivan Reis, Brad Anderson y Rob Leigh.
Arte
Gary Frank y Brad Anderson logran el balance perfecto de un arte sumamente detallado y orgánico con colores claros que no esconden nada. Es hipnotizante cada panel de cada página. Esta entrega tiene secuencias que destacan el dolor de las torturas.
La rotulación de Rob Leigh es una explosion de adrenalina onomatopéyica.

What does it come from?

Plot
Geiger tries to cheer Barney up by making him a feast of food, but his faithful pet has no appetite, Nate is worried.
At night when everyone is asleep Barney goes for a walk and arrives at the High Plains Zoo, where a group of hunters eliminate all the animals that have mutated and only take the normal specimens alive to Las Vegas, to a wedding.
Barney meets the gorilla Manco, who has four arms, they communicate between them, Manco explains the situation..
Barney witnesses how these hunters killed a three-eyed mother zebra and planned to do the same to her son, at that moment Barney kills one of the hunters. The other hunter electrocutes Barney as Electrician did and he remembers that pain, but Manco arrives with the other animals and they eliminate all the hunters.
Barney returns to Geiger and brings with him the three-eyed zebra, Nate loves it and adopts it as Zig Zag, Geiger doesn't like the idea but Barney also wants company.
This issue focuses for the first time on Barney and with very little dialogue tells a cautionary adventure about animal cruelty.
This comic improves with each issue and maintains a cohesive and addictive narrative rhythm, Geoff Johns highlights how humanity in this crisis becomes cruel and indifferent to the pain of others, how it approach barbarism without realizing it.
This comic includes a scary preview of the next Ghost Machine comic called Hyde Street, which inaugurates the horror universe of this publisher. The creative team of this series is Geoff Johns, Ivan Reis, Brad Anderson and Rob Leigh.
Art
Gary Frank and Brad Anderson achieve the perfect balance of extremely detailed and organic art with clear colors that hide nothing. Every panel of every page is mesmerizing. This installment has sequences that highlight the pain of torture.
Rob Leigh's lettering is an onomatopoeic adrenaline rush.
