¿De qué viene?
Sam era el dulce y regordete mejor amigo de la escuela. Ahora que es un vampiro, se ha convertido en el deportista más grande de su año y está arrasando en la cancha de baloncesto. Las chicas lo adoran, y también los acosadores, pero sus amigos están muy preocupados.

Trama
Sam rechaza la oferta de Rufus e intenta hablar con Amy sobre sus sentimientos, pero ella no comparte ese amor, ella le recalca que está ocupada como heroína y que ella es libre de decidir con quien tiene una relación, Danny se molesta aún más con Sam.
Sam dolido se va a los brazos de Kendra, a quien no ama, pero ella lo adula en exceso y le pide el secreto de los poderes, Sam accede a convertirla.
Todo el círculo de amigos de Sam, fueron en el pasado sus acosadores, por lo que se sienten ahora humillados y hay un profundo resentimiento.
En este como Sam habla con su abuelo, quien adelanta un posible suceso clave en la historia, la destrucción de una represa debido a la colación de sedimentos, atentos con esta semilla narrativa sembrada por Millar que florecerá como un giro en la trama.
Sam convierte a Kendra pero no la consigue, hasta descubrir que ella convirtió a todo el grupo en vampiros, ahora los bullies vuelven a poder y Sam es atacado mortalmente.
Esta historia narra cómo la vida de Sam se complica y agrava la situación de vampiros en la zona, su ego se convierte en una avalancha de errores, Sam está más solo que nunca y en la mira de sus bullies.
Arte
Incluye muchas texturas que le permite a Ramirez crear un ambiente lúgubre pero muy dinámico, a su vez incluye muchos detalles y poses que contribuyen a darle realismo y actualidad.

Sam was the sweet, chubby best friend at school. Now that he’s a vampire, he’s become the biggest jock in his year and hammering win after win on the basketball court. The girls love him, and so do the bullies, but his friends are getting very concerned.

Plot
Sam rejects Rufus' offer and tries to talk to Amy about his feelings, but she doesn't share that love, she stresses that she's busy being a heroine and that she's free to decide who she has a relationship with, Danny gets even more upset with Sam.
Sam hurt goes into the arms of Kendra, whom he doesn't love, but she flatters him excessively and asks for the secret of the powers, Sam agrees to turn her into a vampire.
All of Sam's circle of friends were his bullies in the past, so they now feel humiliated and there is a deep resentment to him.
In this issue, Sam talks to his grandfather, who advances a possible key event in the story, the destruction of a dam due to the collapse of sediment, pay attention to this narrative seed planted by Millar that will flourish in the right moment.
Sam turns Kendra but doesn't get it, until he discovers that she turned the entire group into vampires, now the bullies are in power again and Sam is mortally attacked.
This story tells how Sam's life becomes complicated and the vampire situation in the area worsens, his ego becomes an avalanche of mistakes, Sam is more alone than ever and in the sights of his bullies.
Art
It includes many textures that allow Ramirez to create a gloomy but very dynamic environment, in turn it includes many details and poses that contribute to giving it realism and current events.
