¿QUIÉN ES EL NUEVO VENOM? Después de Venom War, el escritor Al Ewing convierte su saga de simbiontes en una serie completamente nueva junto al artista superestrella Carlos Gómez en ALL-NEW VENOM. SINOPSIS
El sonriente y audaz héroe arácnido que Nueva York ama odiar y amar está de regreso, ¡y más divertido que nunca! Así es, es... ¡Espera, es VENOM! Un anfitrión completamente nuevo está llevando al simbionte en una dirección completamente nueva, pero ¿quién? Podría ser el Periodista... el Terrorista... el Sidekick... o incluso el Alcalde... Te estamos dando todas las pistas, buenos creyentes, ¡pero no lo sabrás hasta que te quites la máscara!
Sobre la reducción del alcance de Venom, Ewing le dijo a Polygon: "Entonces nos alejamos de la gran cosa cósmica. El péndulo se aleja de eso y vuelve a una historia mucho más íntima, basada en los personajes, pero también tiene mucha de esa acción de superhéroes a nivel del suelo, donde se trata menos de entidades cósmicas que luchan en los paisajes mentales de los demás, o zonas misteriosas más allá del tiempo, y mucho más de la calle, lanzando telarañas, lanzando cadenas, haciendo lo de Venom. Es casi como mi regreso a un cómic de superhéroes de la vieja escuela, pero con un par de giros que nos divertiremos incorporando”.

On narrowing Venom’s scope, Ewing told Polygon, “So we take a swing away from the big cosmic thing. The pendulum swings away from that and back into a much more intimate, character-based story, but also has a lot of that ground-level super hero action, where it’s less about cosmic entities battling in each other’s mindscapes, or mysterious zones beyond time, and much more on the street — slinging webs, slinging chains, doing the Venom thing. It’s almost like my return to an old-school sort of super hero comic, but with a couple of twists that we’re gonna have fun bringing in.”
