¿De qué viene?

¡Una competición entre los guerreros de élite de la Tierra se ha vuelto mortal con la llegada de un Depredador alienígena! Los competidores supervivientes se han atrincherado para protegerse, ¡pero el público que lo ve está sediento de sangre! Y más de uno de los combatientes oculta secretos mortales. ¿En quién se puede confiar? ¿Cómo podrán escapar? ¿Quién sobrevivirá?

Trama

Abigail Brown se enfrenta al Yautja para ayudar a Kai Daniels, quien ironicamente fue salvado por el Depredador. Abigail logra escapar con Kai, revelan que ella recibió un implante en su cerebro para ayudarle a enfocarse en el trabajo pero tuvo una reacción adversa, le despertó sus ganas de pelear todo el tiempo.

Otros luchadores se abalanzan contra el Yautja, cuyo sistema de invisibilidad se afectó por la explosión de un luchador con partes cyborg.

Atrincherados en el gimnasio, Abigail, Kai y Sara Molina intentan saber lo que ocurre y se los explica Jakob Bakken, un luchador misterioso que es un ex-C.I.A. Explica que por siglos estos extraterrestres llegan a nuestro planeta a cazar y que usan el calor para perseguir a sus presas.

Por otro lado el organizador de este evento ilegal, Mr Mcgrath desconoce lo que ocurre, piensa que es un humano mejorado y obliga a Abigail, Kai, Sara y Jakob a que se regresen a pelear con el Yautja usando su ejército de mercenarios, todos acorralados hasta el Depredador. Pero Abigail es inteligente y le ofrece al Yautja que se les una y eliminen a todos los soldados.

Excelente miniserie que mezcla dos géneros populares en la década de 1980/1990 competencias de artes marciales con terror alienígena.

Arte

Con buenas secuencias de pelea que involucran lenguaje corporal expresiones faciales y poses de pelea apoyadas por muchos trazos incompletos que le ofrecen sensación de dinamismo.

Resumen

Abigail, Kai,Sara y Jakob se enfrentan al Depredador sin armas, solo sus habilidades mejoradas de pelea.

What does it come from?

A competition among Earth's elite fighters has turned deadly with the arrival of an alien Predator! The surviving competitors are barricaded themselves together for safety, but the viewing audience is out for blood! And more than one of the combatants is concealing deadly secrets. Who can be trusted, how can they escape…and who will survive?

Plot

Abigail Brown confronts the Yautja to help Kai Daniels, who ironically was saved by the Predator. Abigail manages to escape with Kai, revealing that she received a brain implant meant to help her focus on her work, but it had an adverse reaction, awakening her constant desire to fight.

Other fighters rush towards the Yautja, whose invisibility system was disrupted by the explosion of a fighter with cyborg parts.

Holed up in the gym, Abigail, Kai, and Sara Molina try to understand what's happening, and Jakob Bakken, a mysterious fighter and former CIA agent, explains it to them. He says that for centuries these extraterrestrials have come to our planet to hunt and that they use heat to track their prey.

On the other hand, the organizer of this illegal event, Mr. McGrath, is unaware of what's happening. He believes the Predator is an enhanced human and forces Abigail, Kai, Sara, and Jakob to return to fight the Yautja using his army of mercenaries, all cornered by the Predator. But Abigail is clever and offers the Yautja the chance to join them and eliminate all the soldiers.

An excellent miniseries that blends two popular genres of the 1980s and 90s: martial arts competitions and alien horror.

Art

Featuring well-executed fight sequences that incorporate body language, facial expressions, and fighting stances, supported by many unfinished lines that lend a sense of dynamism.

Summary

Abigail, Kai, Sara, and Jakob face the Predator unarmed, relying solely on their enhanced fighting skills
