¿De qué viene?

EL REY BÁRBARO DE AQUILONIA VS. ¡EL DESCONOCIDO! ¡CONAN debe hacer una alianza impía si quiere continuar su viaje por el Mar Occidental! Pero mientras los guerreros caídos de esta isla misteriosa se alzan para luchar una vez más, ¿sucumbirá Conan al atractivo de la BRUJERÍA MALDITA después de todo este tiempo? ¿Y qué hay de su hijo, PRINCE CONN, y el Reino de Aquilonia dejado atrás?

TRAMA

Esta miniserie sigue narrando dos historias en dos líneas temporales diferentes, una en el pasado con Conan como Rey lidiando con ser padre y otra en el presente en esta isla maldita.

Conan sigue su lucha contra a muerte con el brujo Thoth-Amon, pero de repente todos los muertos fruto de los naufragios empiezan a revivir en forma de zombies, Conan intenta hacer una tregua con Thoth-Amon pero este brujo es muy traicionero, sin embargo estos seres son controlados por una figura extraña.

En el pasado se traslada a la guerra de conquista del reino de Conan, Aquilonia contra Zingara, donde el hijo de Conan, el príncipe Conn intenta hacer de su padre un estadista y alejarlo de sus instintos de guerrero. Conan está aburrido de su vida segura, sus guerra fáciles de ganar, pero lo que más le preocupa es que su hijo no tiene la experiencia de guerrero nómada que según el le hace falta, por lo que toma una medida muy cruel para despertar el lado bárbaro de Conn.

Esta historia es brillante, apasionante e intensa, donde muestran a Conan como nunca antes, como un padre lidiando con cuál legado le va a dar a su hijo.

ARTE

Es muy detallado y orgánico gracias a esa impronta tan inteligente del ilustrador Asrar, esta página splash solo muestra un poco de su despliegue artístico, con  ciertos tributos a portadas clásicas de Sword of Conan. La paleta de colores te ayuda a trasladarte geográficamente y resalta las emociones de Conan. La rotulación es clásica y antigua, una obra de arte.

Resumen

Conan busca nuevas emociones para escapar de la responsabilidad de criar a un futuro rey.

What does it come from?

And what of his son, PRINCE CONN, and the Kingdom of Aquilonia left behind?

PLOT

This miniseries continues to tell two stories in two different timelines, one in the past with Conan as King dealing with being a father and another in the present on this cursed island.

Conan continues his fight to the death with the witch Thoth-Amon, but suddenly all the dead as a result of the shipwrecks begin to revive in the form of zombies, Conan tries to make a truce with Thoth-Amon but this witch is very treacherous, however these beings are controlled by a strange figure.

In the past he moves to the war of conquest of Conan's kingdom, Aquilonia against Zingara, where Conan's son Prince Conn tries to make his father a statesman and alienate him from his warrior instincts. Conan is bored with his safe life, his easy-to-win wars, but what worries him the most is that his son does not have the nomadic warrior experience that he claims he lacks, so he takes a very cruel measure to awaken Conn's barbarian side. 

This story is brilliant, gripping and intense, showing Conan like never before, as a father grappling with what legacy he is going to give his son.

ART

It is very detailed and organic thanks to that very intelligent imprint of the illustrator Asrar, this splash page only shows a little of his artistic display, with certain tributes to classic Sword of Conan covers. The color palette helps you move geographically and brings out Conan's emotions. The lettering is classic and old, a work of art.

Summary

Conan seeks new emotions to escape the responsibility of raising a future king.

Conan as he has never been seen, fearful of the future.

TRAMA 

Bernice y Georgia llegan hasta el Fair Folk Dwell, buscando a Emmy y se la muestran como un espantapájaros, en realidad todo fue una trampa de los MOCKERIES para que Bernie deshaga el hechizo que hizo para que todos olviden a Emmy y a todos los seres sobrenaturales que temen y lo que les dan esperanza.

Bernie se reencuentra con su amiga Priscila.

De esta manera los Mockeries tiene de vuelta su poder y están listos para aterrorizar a todos, Bernie, Georgia y Priscila están por ser ejecutadas.

Este capítulo se adentra en el terror y cambia el balance del poder en Harrow County.

Bernie is reunited with his friend Priscila.

In this way the Mockeries have their power back and are ready to terrorize everyone, Bernie, Georgia and Priscilla are about to be executed.

This chapter delves into terror and shifts the balance of power in Harrow County.

The reader will arouse fear, the presence of these perverse beings will surely make their skin crawl.

Bernice must reverse her spell and this will create dangerous chaos.

Conoce a Jenny Tetsuo, la bebedora y fiestera hija del amado superhéroe Mega Commander Zero. Jenny Zero combina humor, corazón y monstruos para crear un superhéroe mezclado, agitado, revuelto y perfectamente imperfecto.

Trama

Jenny descubre que puede aumentar de tamaño al enfrentarse con un Kaiju,  al parecer ella posee los mismos poderes de su padre, Mega Commander Zero. Su padre muere al sacrificarse usando su poder.

Ella no había desarrollado esta habilidad porque su padre y la ASP ACTION SCIENCE POLICE, le habían colocado un chip inhibidor, pero el Jaiju la atacó e inyectó una sustancia que la activó el super poder de crecer y transformarse en un ser diferente. 

El desastre que ocasiona Jenny para vencer al kaiju es mayor de lo esperado, pero igual lo logra.

Ahora la ASP le pide que suplante a su padre como heroína, pero ella se siente traicionada y quiere escapar, pero todo parece ser parte del plan del director de la ASP.

Este cómic posee una magnífica secuencia inicial y revelaciones muy importantes para lo que viene.

Arte

Es orgánico y maneja muy bien los tonos de los flashbacks, posee una impronta única que mezcla elementos del manga con el comic.

Resumen

Jenny descubre un terrible secreto de su pasado y no lo va tomar de la mejor manera

Meet Jenny Tetsuo, the hard drinkin', hard partyin' daughter of beloved superhero, Mega Commander Zero. After washing out as the military's top Kaiju-killer, ''Jenny Zero'' now lives the celebutante life with her hotel heiress and publicist best friend, Dana Sheraton. But when the massive creatures return, Jenny must decide if she can sober up and save the world! 

Plot

Jenny discovers that she can increase in size when facing a Kaiju, apparently she possesses the same powers as her father, Mega Commander Zero. Her father sacrificed himself using his power to save the world.

She had not developed this ability because her father and the ASP ACTION SCIENCE POLICE had placed an inhibitor chip on her, but the Kaiju attacked her and injected a substance that activated her super power to grow and transform into a different being.

The disaster that Jenny causes to defeat the kaiju is greater than expected, but she still succeeds.

Now the ASP asks him to impersonate her father as a heroine, but she feels betrayed and wants to escape from her, but everything seems to be part of the plan of the director of the ASP.

This comic has a great opening sequence and very important revelations for what is to come.

Art

It is organic and handles the tones of the flashbacks very well, it has a unique imprint that mixes elements of the manga with the comic.

Jenny discovers a terrible secret from her past and is not going to take it in the best way
