¿De qué viene?

Trama

Magneto envia a Rogue y Gambit a rescatar a Morph, quien descubre en una misión secreta que Forge está apresado en la Citadel de Apocalipsis por Mr Sinister.

En este universo distopico, Magneto logró asesinar a Apocalipsis y su X-men siguen eliminando a su acólitos como Havok.

Magneto, Gambit, Rogue, Storm y Morph rescatan a Forge en manos de Mr Sinister, ambos descubren que hay un universo paralelo donde Apocalipsis aun vive, asi como Xavier.

Magneto envía a los X-men al universo 616, nuestro universo a eliminar a Apocalipsis y destruir esta era que no debe existir según ellos.

Mr Sinister está trabajando con uno de los jinetes de apocalipsis Holocaust.

Interesante historia que narra lo que ocurre cuando Apocalipsis es vencido, sin embargo hay que haber leído algo de Age of Apocalypse para disfrutar y entender mejor esta secuela.

Arte

Captura el tono artístico y secuencial de los comics d la decada de 1990, época en donde el evento Age of Apocalyse fue lanzado y a su vez refresca los diseños con un arte actual levemente influenciado por el Manga.

What does it come from?

THE X-MEN OF APOCALYPSE CRASH INTO THE MAIN MARVEL UNIVERSE! A dystopian future created when Charles Xavier was killed, AGE OF APOCALYPSE is home to a war-torn group of X-Men led by Magneto. In order to free their Earth from Apocalypse's cruel reign, they were willing to sacrifice their very existence-or so they thought! The main timeline was restored, Apocalypse was defeated, but their world lived on! Taking place in the direct aftermath of the original crossover's explosive finale, X-MEN OF APOCALYPSE reignites the mission of this iconic reality's X-Men as they journey here to ensure their universe's survival. This desperate mission will take them into the main Marvel Universe, where they will come into conflict with their classic counterparts, forever impacting both team's destinies!

Plot

Magneto sends Rogue and Gambit to rescue Morph, who discovers on a secret mission that Forge is imprisoned in Apocalypse's Citadel by Mr. Sinister.

In this dystopian universe, Magneto managed to kill Apocalypse, and his X-Men continue to eliminate his minions like Havok.

Magneto, Gambit, Rogue, Storm, and Morph rescue Forge from Mr. Sinister. They both discover that there is a parallel universe where Apocalypse still lives, as does Xavier.

Magneto sends the X-Men to the 616 universe, our universe, to eliminate Apocalypse and destroy this era that, according to them, should never exist.

Mr. Sinister is working with one of the Horsemen of Apocalypse, Holocaust.

An interesting story that tells what happens when Apocalypse is defeated. However, you must have read some Age of Apocalypse to enjoy and better understand this sequel.

Art

It captures the artistic and sequential tone of the comics from the 1990s, the era in which the Age of Apocalypse event was launched, while also refreshing the designs with contemporary art slightly influenced by manga.

Summary

Magneto and his X-Men discover our universe, where Apocalypse exists, and decide they must erase this reality

This October, the Marvel Universe enters the AGE OF REVELATION, a new status quo taking place 10 years into the future and arising out of current developments in the X-Men titles.

 

AGE OF REVELATION kicks off in AGE OF REVELATION #0, a special prelude issue now available to order, and officially begins in X-MEN: AGE OF REVELATION OVERTURE #1, followed by multiple new series.

 

New York, NY— July 9, 2025 — Every so often, a pivotal moment occurs that radically transforms the Marvel Universe, diverting its destiny towards strange timelines and dark futures. This October, in honor of the 30^th anniversary of one of the greatest of those aforementioned sagas, Age of Apocalypse, behold the AGE OF REVELATION, a startling new X-Men event that sees the world reborn in the image of the heir to Apocalypse: Doug Ramsey, A.K.A. Revelation.

 

This week, select retailers will receive a Shadow Drop Variant of AGE OF REVELATION #0, a prelude one-shot by X-Men writer Jed MacKay and superstar artist Humberto Ramos that reveals how this new status quo came to be. Starting today, additional copies of this surprise issue with a wraparound cover by Ryan Stegman are now available to order. Retailers should order immediately to receive their copies as soon as possible.

 

On October 1, AGE OF REVELATION OVERTURE #1 by MacKay and Stegman serves as a foundational alpha issue for this new era, which overtakes the current X-Men line for the foreseeable future with series evolutions like Amazing X-Men, Unbreakable X-Men, and Expatriate X-Men, and also impacts the wider Marvel Universe with launches such as Radioactive Spider-Man, X-Vengers, and Iron and Frost.
