A partir de esta entrega comienza un nuevo arco argumental y estrena equipo creativo, Steve Niles (30 days of Night) y Marcelo Frusin (Hellblazer) toman las riendas de las aventuras de Patience Lee como Kick-Ass, quienes sin duda alguna hacen un excelente trabajo.
Regresan las impresionantes secuencias de acción, drama y suspenso que nos tiene acostumbrado esta serie con una nueva visión.
¿De qué viene?
El número anterior dejó a Patience Lee como la jefa de una banda criminal que tiene por objetivo eliminar la competencia, claro está, Patience luego de limpiar la calle, de seguro eliminará a su propia banda. Ella está convencida de que la única manera de acabar con el crimen es desde adentro como lo hizo con Hopes Lucero. En este enlace pueden ver el resumen de los primeros 6 números, sin embargo para leer este cómic no es obligatorio leer lo que pasó antes.
¿Qué sucede?
Patience Lee siente que tiene en sus manos a un ejército y lo hace operar de esa misma manera, haciendo redadas a todas las operaciones criminales de Hector Santos, el siguiente jefe de la mafia que ella tiene en su lista, por lo que tres cuartas partes de este cómic es dedicado a esos trabajos de limpieza, con una magnificas secuencias de acción.
Todas estas acciones están afectando inmensamente los negocios de Santos, su red de prostitución y tráfico de drogas esta siendo desmantelada y su ira en contra de Kick-Ass aumenta y se prepara para la guerra.
A pesar de que Kick-Ass está nadando entre tanto dinero confiscado, ella lo sigue usando para buenas acciones ya que Patience sigue con su trabajo de mesonera y continúa con sus estudios, es decir, este proyecto de tener un ejército no es a largo plazo.
La dupla Niles y Frusin otorga un nuevo matiz a la serie, proporcionando un tono de misterio y suspenso pero la vez cargado de violencia extrema. La historia se siente muy dinámica.

The previous issue left Patience Lee as the head of a criminal gang that aims to eliminate the competition, of course, Patience after cleaning the street, will surely eliminate her own criminal gang. She is convinced that the only way to end the crime is from within as she did with Hopes Lucero. What's going on?
