En este cómic continúa este segundo arco argumental con el equipo creativo, Steve Niles (30 days of Night) y Marcelo Frusin (Hellblazer) donde Patience Lee debe lidiar con mantener unida y funcional una red de criminales.
¿De qué viene?
En el Kick-Ass #8, uno de los soldados de Patience, Benson, revela la ubicación de la base secreta de Kick-Ass, quienes acaban de sobrevivir una emboscada y han recibido bajas y no están muy animados de luchar contra Hector Santos.
¿Qué sucede?
Patience Lee se prepara para contraatacar, ya que Hector Santos viene con todo, empieza a investigar el paradero de este mafioso, que nunca sale de su escondite secreto, pero su "mano derecha" sí lo hace, por lo que la búsqueda se empieza a simplificar.
Hasta los momentos Kick-Ass había obrado en total anonimato, pero una pelea en un sitio público le acaba de dar una inesperada notoriedad muy positiva por parte de la gente, esta secuencia es magnífica e imperdible.
Este cómic posee increíbles secuencias de acción donde Patience sale aporreada, sin embargo siempre tiene un as bajo la manga. Steve Niles y Marcelo Frusin nos están preparando para lo que será una guerra sin cuartel, pero todos sabemos que la experta en estrategias bélicas es Patience Lee.

In Kick-Ass # 8, one of Patience's soldiers, Benson, reveals the location of the secret base of Kick-Ass, who have just survived an ambush and have received casualties on her team, and they are not very encouraged to fight against Hector Santos.
What happens?
Patience Lee prepares to counterattack since Hector Santos comes with everything, she begins to investigate the whereabouts of this mobster, who never leaves his secret hiding place, but his "right hand" does, so the search is getting easier.
Until this moment Kick-Ass had acted in total anonymity, but a fight in a public place just gave her an unexpected very positive notoriety from the people, this sequence is magnificent and unforgettable.
This comic has incredible action sequences where Patience is beaten, but always has an ace on her sleeve. Steve Niles and Marcelo Frusin are preparing us for what will be an all-out war, but we all know that the expert in war strategies is Patience Lee.
