Elvira, la presentadora nocturna de filmes de terror las décadas de 1980 y 1990 encarnada Cassandra Peterson, regresa con aventuras en su formato de cómic. Elvira es una mujer voluptuosa y divertida que ama el género del terror y el look gótico, su película Elvira Mistress of the Dark del año 1988 es de culto. Su principal característica es su agudo sentido del humor/auto-consciente y que frecuentemente rompe la cuarta pared. En este cómic resaltan todas estas cualidades.

Elvira entra en el hotel que inspiró a la película El Resplandor, el gran clásico del terror de Stanley Kubrick (quien tiene un breve cameo).

Plot
Elvira enters the hotel that inspired the movie The Shining, the great horror classic by Stanley Kubrick (who has a brief cameo).
The story makes a parody of Kubrick's way of filming and confuses the important iconic phrases of the protagonist, it is a mixture of fun pop culture.
Elvira breaks the fourth wall with self-aware and very clever jokes.
Art
Accurately captures the expressions of the film as well as its actors, illustrating key moments from this classic movie.
