¿De Qué viene?
En la película Night of the Ghoul, es 1918 y nuestra nación se regocija cuando los soldados regresan de los campos de batalla de la Gran Guerra. Pero, ¿y si algo ha vuelto con ellos? En el mundo real, un padre y un hijo descubren la línea borrosa entre la ficción y la realidad.
El escritor y el artista detrás de Batman: The Black Mirror se reúnen para arrojar luz sobre un artefacto de celuloide que alguna vez se pensó que había desaparecido para siempre, quizás por una buena razón. . .
TRAMA
Este cómic narra dos subtramas, la primera sobre la investigación de Forest, la segunda muestra las escenas que vieron Inman y su hijo, que como no están completas ocultan información:
Subtrama 1: Forest Inman es interrumpido por el misterioso Dr Skeen en su entrevista con TF Merrit, y hacen que Inman y su hijo Orson se vayan del hospital.
Pero Inman necesita saber donde esta la pelicula completa de Night of the Ghoul, por lo que se regresa al hospital y presencia como el Dr Skeen realiza algo sobrenatural y espeluznante.
Subtrama 2: por otro lado siguen mostrando escenas de la misteriosa película, que explica que Ghoul es un ser que surge cada doscientos años para desatar una peste. Es un ser milenario que se alimenta de carne necrosada.
Definen que existen dos organizaciones rivales:
ORDER OF THE FLY: veneran a Ghoul y le ayudan a despertar y desatar el caos
LEGION OF THE SCARAB: se dedican a detener el surgimiento de Ghoul.
Lo que deja claro es que la película revela mucha información de Ghoul, por eso fue ocultada todos estos años.
Excelente segundo capítulo de esta escalofriante, brillante y alucinante historia.
ARTE
Francesco Francavilla sigue logrando ese balance entre nuestra era y el tono exacto de las películas de terror de la década de 1940. Logra despertar el miedo en cualquier época de la historia.
Resumen
Forest se acerca a la verdad pero su hijo corre peligro cada vez que se adentran en la historia detrás de la película Night of the Ghoul.

What does it come from?
In the film Night of the Ghoul, it's 1918 and our nation is rejoicing as soldiers return from the battlegrounds of the Great War. But what if something has come back with them? In the real world, a father and son discover the blurred line between fiction and reality.
The writer and artist behind Batman: The Black Mirror reunite to shed light on a celluloid artifact once thought forever missing, perhaps with good reason . . .
PLOT
This comic narrates two subplots, the first about Forest's investigation, the second shows the scenes that Inman and his son saw, which, as they are not complete, hide information:
Subplot 1: Forest Inman is interrupted by the mysterious Dr Skeen in his interview with TF Merritt, and Inman and his son Orson are made to leave the hospital.
But Inman needs to know where the full Night of the Ghoul movie is, so he goes back to the hospital and witnesses Dr. Skeen do something supernatural and creepy.
Subplot 2: they continue to show scenes from the mysterious film, which explains that Ghoul is a being that appears every two hundred years to unleash a plague. He is a millenary being that feeds on necrotic meat.
They define that there are two rival organizations:
ORDER OF THE FLY: worship Ghoul and help him awaken and unleash chaos
LEGION OF THE SCARAB: They are dedicated to stopping the rise of Ghoul.
What it makes clear is that the film reveals a lot of information about Ghoul, which is why it was hidden all these years.
Excellent second chapter of this chilling, brilliant and amazing story.
ART
Francesco Francavilla continues to achieve that balance between our era and the exact tone of the horror movies of the 1940s. He manages to arouse fear at any time in history.
Summary
Forest gets closer to the truth but his son is in danger every time they delve into the story behind the Night of the Ghoul movie.
Superb psychological/supernatural horror story
