TRAMA
Jerri asiste a una comic algo desordenada cuando se topa con Cal intentando atrapar a un Mammotaur, unos seres que surgen en una alineación especial de planetas para aparearse, pero ni Jerri ni Cal lo van a permitir.
Tanto Jerri como Cal tienen mucho en común, ambos son alcohólicos que tratan de tener una vida normal en ese caos que es cazar monstruos, solo que ella está superando la adicción y ve en Cal una oportunidad de ayudarlo. Es interesante el balance entre ambos que se centra en la empatía.
El encuentro entre Jerri y Ghoul es hilarante.
Excelente historia de un equipo de cazadores que necesitamos que vuelvan a cruzar sus caminos.

El equipo creativo logra la atmósfera perfecta, al lograr detalles y colores que elevan el tono vintage clásico de su arte a otro nivel de excelencia.

What could be more dicey than a monster hunter with a self-destructive streak? TWO monster hunters with a self-destructive streak! Plop them both into the weirdly wonderful world of fan conventions as they seek to capture a rampaging creature from deep beneath the earth, and the good times will really get rolling!
Storied creature catcher Cal McDonald joins forces (kind of) with novice beast buster, Jerri Bartman in this special crossover event from Steve Niles and David Dastmalchian.
PLOT
Jerri is attending a messy comic book when she runs into Cal trying to catch a Mammotaur, beings that arise in a special alignment of planets to mate, but neither Jerri nor Cal will allow it.
Both Jerri and Cal have a lot in common, they are both alcoholics trying to have a normal life in the chaos of hunting monsters, only she is overcoming the addiction and sees in Cal an opportunity to help him. The balance between the two that focuses on empathy is interesting.
The encounter between Jerri and Ghoul is hilarious.
Excellent story of a team of hunters that we need to cross their paths again.

The creative team achieves the perfect atmosphere, achieving details and colors that elevate the classic vintage tone of their art to another level of excellence.
Summary
Jerri and Cal must stop the mating of deadly and dangerous beings.An excellent encounter between two unorthodox monster hunters.
