   SINOPSIS

¡Nuevo arco! Sunfire emprende una misión al Mercado Torcido del Otro Mundo para salvar al mutante Redroot, presentado por primera vez durante X OF SWORDS. Pero el propietario del mercado, Mad Jim Jaspers, le ofrece a Sunfire una prueba...

En una entrevista exclusiva con AIPT Comics, Steve Orlando dijo: “Esta es una narrativa de búsqueda completa para Sunfire, con todas las amenazas desgarradoras, monstruos y heroísmo implacable. Y no sólo eso, ¡es una misión de rescate! Como tal, veremos a Sunfire abriéndose camino a través del Otro Mundo y enfrentándose a algunas de sus caras más peligrosas. ¿Y si puede pegarle a Orchis en el camino? Aun mejor."

En la misma entrevista, Steve Foxe continuó: “Sí, tenemos un desafío único a partir de X-Men #24, porque en un espacio de página muy corto, los lectores ven lo que Shiro se propone hacer y dónde termina. Pero la misión en sí no estaba definida en gran medida, por lo que Steve y yo nos divertimos mucho dibujando algunos de los rincones esotéricos del Otro Mundo vistos durante la era Krakoan. Shiro no es un personaje que a menudo recibe historias en solitario, por lo que queríamos asegurarnos de aprovechar esta oportunidad y brindarle la mayor aventura posible a pesar de que los lectores ya conocen los extremos de la misma”.

New arc! Sunfire goes on a mission to Otherworld’s Crooked Market to save the mutant Redroot, first introduced during X OF SWORDS. But the proprietor of the Market, Mad Jim Jaspers, offers Sunfire a trial instead…

 

In an exclusive interview with AIPT Comics X-Men Monday, Steve Orlando said, “This is a full-on quest narrative for Sunfire, with all the harrowing threats, monsters, and unrelenting heroism. And not just that, it’s a rescue mission! As such, we’ll see Sunfire battling his way through Otherworld and facing down some of its most dangerous faces. And if he can stick it to Orchis on the way? Even better.”

 

In the same interview, Steve Foxe continued, “Yeah, we got a unique challenge picking up from X-Men #24, because in a very short page space, readers see what Shiro sets out to do and where he ends up. But the quest itself was largely undefined, so Steve and I had a lot of fun drawing on some of the esoteric corners of Otherworld seen during the Krakoan era. Shiro’s not a character who often gets solo stories, so we wanted to make sure we made this opportunity count and give him the biggest adventure we could despite the bookends to it already being known to readers.”
