ATLAS ENTERTAINMENT Y GHOST MACHINE SE ASOCIAN PARA LA ADAPTACIÓN CINEMATOGRÁFICA DE ‘REDCOAT’

 

Atlas Entertainment y Ghost Machine anunciaron hoy que están desarrollando una adaptación cinematográfica de REDCOAT, la aclamada serie escrita por Geoff Johns (Aquaman), ilustrada por Bryan Hitch (The Ultimates), con color de Brad Anderson y rotulación de Rob Leigh. 

El primer número de REDCOAT, publicado en abril de 2024, se agotó instantáneamente, y desde entonces la serie se ha consolidado como un referente en las listas de ventas de Ghost Machine y su socio editorial, Image Comics. La adaptación cinematográfica será escrita por Johns, a partir de una historia de Johns y Hitch, y está siendo producida por Charles Roven y Alex Gartner para Atlas Entertainment. 

REDCOAT trata sobre SIMON PURE quien tras obtener la inmortalidad por error durante la Revolución Americana, un desertor británico se ve obligado a afrontar su pasado de cobardía y luchar contra un siniestro complot para destruir América. Con reminiscencias de la trepidante acción histórica de Piratas del Caribe e Indiana Jones, REDCOAT descorre el velo de la historia estadounidense para narrar la leyenda del héroe desconocido que nos salvó a todos.

Oscar-winning producer Charles Roven’s Atlas Entertainment and groundbreaking creator collective Ghost Machine are developing a REDCOAT feature film based on the critically acclaimed series by

LOS ANGELES (November 14, 2025) — Atlas Entertainment and Ghost Machine announced today that they are developing a feature film adaptation of REDCOAT, the critically acclaimed series written by Geoff Johns (Aquaman), illustrated by Bryan Hitch (The Ultimates), colored by Brad Anderson, and lettered by Rob Leigh. REDCOAT’s debut issue in April 2024 was an instant sellout, and the ongoing series has since established itself as a mainstay on the top seller charts for Ghost Machine and publishing partner Image Comics.  The feature film adaptation will be written by Johns based on a story by Johns and Hitch and is being produced by Charles Roven and Alex Gartner for Atlas Entertainment. 

 

After a British deserter mistakenly gains immortality during the American Revolution, he is forced to face his cowardly past and fight against a sinister plot to destroy America. Reminiscent of the bombastic historical action in Pirates of the Caribbean and Indiana Jones, REDCOAT pulls back the curtain of American History to tell the legend of the unknown hero who saved us all.
