REVIEW IN ENGLISH

With Spoilers

What does it come from?
The Groo-verse’s hapless wandering minstrel and his smart daughter, Kayli, roam the land... Traveling from town to town, they sing tales of Groo wherever they go, bringing laughter, joy, and lessons to the townsfolk... and hopefully some kopins to their pockets! Sergio Aragonés and Mark Evanier begin another epic, hilarious Groo series, with colors by Carrie Strachan and letters by Stan Sakai!

  • Four issue series.
  • Each issue features a Rufferto backup story!

Plot
A troubadour comes to a town to sing his songs about adventures and heroes, accompanied by his daughter, but when the Troubadour says the word "GROO" total chaos breaks out, people run away in fear.

The Troubadour knows why this happens and when he tells how Groo sees tourists paying to see ancient cities in ruins on his walks, Groo, with his best intentions, wants to help other towns financially and decides to destroy them with his strength, sword and some fire, but when people explain to him that without a house they cannot eat or live, he decides to go to another town and do the same, so both towns will be more attractive.

Groo definitely has good intentions but no intelligence. The comic includes a short story at the end without dialogues about Rufferto, Groo's dog.

Hilarious saga that brings out the epic mistakes of this wandering hero. This comic is for all ages and perfect to be read with the family.

Art
It has that naive and dynamic characteristic of the legendary imprint of Sergio Aragonés, where in a cartoonish way he narrates the hilarious adventures of Groo with his dog Rufferto.

This comic includes two double-sided splash pages filled with mesmerizing and hilarious details of the town before and after the mass hysteria broke out.

Summary
Groo's disastrous and funny adventures become terrifying memories for those who lived them.
